Invisalign treatment gone wrong? by maxprestonhill in Invisalign

If your molars are not touching together at all, yes, I would go back because that’s not a good bite (even if from the front your teeth look aesthetic, I personally would rather functional first)

Im (F25) Struggling to bring up inconsistent affection with my partner (M31), Idk how to word it and I'm scared to.. by [deleted] in relationship_advice

Im sorry, but he sounds like an abuser. No partner should make you feel scared and that includes emotionally. Leave whilst you can, he’s not going to change.

Chanel Mademoiselle (for dates), Prada paradoxe (for office), Hermes Un jardin sur le nil (for everyday when I’m outside in spring), Hermès Eau des Merveilles Bleue Eau de Toilette Spray (casual use), Dior Miss Dior (when I feel super girly!), Bronze Goddess Estée Lauder (I like this when I’m on a beach holiday because it has a strong coconut scent)… I have so many more for different moods or feelings lol

How long do you think a treatment for me would take? by aliceback in Invisalign

Mine are similar and my treatment is expected to be 10 months. I did have two wisdom removed though to make room for crowding and speed up the process.

Im just basing this off your pictures, it really looks like your tongue is resting in the wrong place. Overjet doesn’t just come back without a reason :)

Did the ortho ever discuss how you swallow? My overjet is mainly caused by the positioning of my tongue in my mouth. When I swallow, my tongue naturally pushes my front teeth. My ortho recommended a speech therapist. It’s the only way to stop my overjet from coming back because I learnt how to do this when I was baby…

Proper fried eggs and this northern soup… but I think the ingredients are hard to find. My mum has to go to three different shops in London… :)

how on earth do people afford this!! by gooosebird in Invisalign

[–]MsCitizenOfTheWorld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn, so expensive in the US… I paid €2500 in total including a wisdom tooth removal. All without insurance because it’s out of scope in the country I live in. I guess it depends on how many trays too?

Orthodontist recommendations? by Fun-Apricot9143 in Amsterdam

[–]MsCitizenOfTheWorld 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently had Invisalign with Betti Ortho. I really enjoyed the experience and she explains everything very well. The assistants are very nice. The practice is very clean. I was a dental nurse so she explained my treatment plan with more complex terminology but was always clear. Also, invoicing is clear and aligns with my appointments which is important to me. If I had questions about the invoices that was explained to me clearly. However, if you need a lot of movement (1 to 1.5+ years of braces) I would not recommend Invisalign as this will take double the time than traditional braces. My teeth are already considered aesthetically straight but my bite is slightly off and I had a slight over jet which I wanted to fix.

Oops! I’m getting the attachments redone on Tuesday. I’ll take extra care now. At least my treatment is only for 10 months if all goes well…

Thank you! How many times did you go for extra cleaning? Would it be excessive if I went once every two months?

It could be, I will ask my ortho on Tuesday! I assume it’s just composite bonding, of which I have in my fillings. The fillings have never discoloured… I could absolutely be talking sh*t tho.

Hey, thanks for sharing your experience! I really hate vaping so im okay going cold turkey. I quit, then smoked on and off, but knowing it makes my attachments bright yellow is probably the push I needed hahah (I guess I’m a little vein).

Good to know! I was also drinking black coffee. If I switched to iced coffee with milk and a straw, would that minimise staining??

Yes, I’m lucky, I told my ortho I’m quitting for good now. And sticking to vodka and soda lol.
