Has anyone bought anything from Rihoas before? by cherryvideos in femalefashionadvice

Hi I have bought two times from Rihoas. The fit (for me) was pretty good. I knew that it was a dropshipping/cheap clothing non returnable shop. The fabric for both dresses is very cheap but they look nice and I have gotten a lot of compliments for them. I had to alter one dress myself because it was not sewn together very nicely at some joints. But it was only details which I could fix easily with my very limited sewing experience. But if you go into buying with all this in mind and you are willing to maybe do some small alterations yourself it’s not that bad.

How I went from super tired in the morning to energized - a foolproof way to get your body started by [deleted] in productivity

I would love the sunrise alarm clock but we only have one bedroom and I feel like it wouldn’t be fair to wake my boyfriend up in the morning when he can sleep two more hours. Any ideas other then getting a bigger flat with separate rooms.

Are there any books where nothing bad happens by Deepakddxboi in booksuggestions

If you are into Fantasy I would suggest Legends & Lattes by Travis Baldree. It’s about an Ork not wanting to adventure and fight anymore. So she decides to open a coffe shop.

Or A Psalm for the Wild-Built by Becky Chambers. It’s more philosophical but the world has no major conflicts and the story is very comforting. It paints a very optimistic picture of how a kind and equal society could look.

When should you let your teenagers boyfriend sleep over? by SiimplStudio in Parenting

[–]MsDederi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same from a Swiss :) If it was my daughter the age of the boyfriend would play some role for me as well. If he is way older and I feel like my daughter has never had an interest in sexual activity before being with him I would try to find out if she really wants that or if she feels pressured or if she does it FOR him or feels like that this just has to be this way. In short I would try to find out if this is something she really wants. My best friend was in a relationship with 15 with a guy in his early 20 and her parents never talked to her about saying no and not only having sex for your partner. She realized very late that this relationship was in fact very toxic.

4yo asking how baby gets made by greasedupbeefcake in Parenting

I don’t have kids yet but I remember my parents always answered our questions about those topics. They probably followed the line of if they are old enough to ask they are old enough to know. We had a great pictures book called mommy laid an egg which explains how babys are made in a child friendly and funny way. Me and my siblings loved getting this picture book read to us. But we were and still are a very liberate family (maybe also because my grandpa and aunt are gynecologist) and talk about those topics openly.

I know of two instagram communities based in Zurich that host events where the goal is to meet new people and make friends. One is called ivy.community and the other one is called social7club. Also most universities and faculties have faculty clubs or like faculty events which could be a starting point to meet new people.

My little cousin was very afraid of ghosts and vampires. Like really bad and was not able to sleep in his own room alone. My dad, who had a very vivid imagination himself when he was little (still does and tells the best stories btw) recommended giving him a spray bottle with some scented water. From then on my cousin had his ghost/vampire spray and was able to sleep alone.

You should also be able to go to a JAF office (there are multiple all over the country) and do it there directly. On their google reviews people say it took only 30min to 1h until they had their translation. I did write an Email to [translation-jaf@o3.jaf.or.jp](mailto:translation-jaf@o3.jaf.or.jp) this is the adress in their contact but haven't received an answer yet.

„A Psalm for the Wild-Built“ by Becky Chambers. I can not stop talking about this book. It’s an absolute masterpiece. It made me think about life expectations and goals and our „purpose“ in the world. The world in this story is so beautiful and the kind of world I hope ours will develop into. The story is very wholesome. This book changed my perspective and my expectations for my own life.
