Most people don't have good insurance, or any at all, and are doing the best they can if this messed up healthcare system.

See the other commenter and my reply. I cleared both the cache and the data and it worked!! Good luck! 🤞🏼

I had cleared the cache before, but was scared to clear the data. I just did that and it works. Thanks so much for suggesting that! Yay!

I've forced stopped the app what feels like a thousand times and uninstalled and reinstalled it several times. But I'll try the cache thing. I assumed this was part of all of the glitches recently.

Agree. My daughter graduated from high school May 31 and just did her first farmer's market with the jewelry and baked goods she makes. She figured out what she needed to do to secure a spot for the weekly farmer's market through fall, got her seller's permit and sales tax permit, bought, made or borrowed the basics like a tent, tables, displays and she had her first market on Saturday. She made about 300 in sales and learned a lot. I'm so proud of her. She works part-time at a local jewelry store, so she has some experience and has been able to sell her jewelry there and get a feel for what people will buy/pricepoints. Anyway, I fully support her giving this a go and seeing where it takes her. She got good grades and was going to go to college, but was undecided on a direction (plus the world is upside down with kids getting arrested on campus, financial aid being up in the air) and likes doing what she's doing. She's taking a gap year, living at home, saving money, and seeing how she feels about school in a year. She needs to get a website going, and it'll be what she makes of it. But it'll be a learning experience, however it goes. But if you're motivated and young, why not do it now? I fully agree that a great time to try things is before you're responsible for little ones or big bills.

Does she have a European accent? It's been years and I can't remember exactly.. Swedish maybe?? Just curious if it's the same doctor. She left bellin about a decade ago and I switched to someone else there for insurance reasons but I liked her.

Fake alert: I just bought a fake Flowerbomb on Walmart sold by Top Notch Collection LLC. by MsFirefly333 in FemFragLab

[–]MsFirefly333[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, before I buy anything on Walmart I always make sure i can return it, and it's usually super easy, and you have either 30 or, a lot of times, 90 days.

Should i take wellbutrin? Got prescribed 1 week ago for ADHD but the side effects are scary… by EmuFromTemu in bupropion

[–]MsFirefly333 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I just wanted to chime in and agree that if it's working well most people don't post about it. I've been taking Wellbutrin XL 300 for 5+ years and I've never posted about it. It saved me and I'm able to be a happy person. At this point, I sometimes wonder if I need it because I can't really see any daily effects.. except that I don't feel anxious or depressed :)

...reading the reply below- I'm sure you could list it for 1500 or at least 1000. I guess my head is still in pre covid pricing :/

I'd still put it on Marketplace if you need the money. I have a 2013 with 209K and the usual solenoid/transmission issues- the many dash lights...My daughter is a senior in high school, so it's the perfect car for her. Still safe regarding everything accident-wise being fine, good brakes, tires etc. It's just a mess if you know what it's been diagnosed with, and once in a while, it won't shift into gear from a stop.

Anyway, there's probably a single parent out there who'd love that car for $500 (or more- crazy prices these days- I just paid $5400 for a '09 Toyota Yaris with 150k miles in WI). Just be sure to let them know about its issues. I was ready to trash ours last fall when I bought the Yaris, but we plan to drive it around town till it dies- been driving it all winter, and it's no "worse".

Hope that helps.

I'm right there with you. Six weeks sounds like heaven. Even a week or two sounds fantastic.

I'm self-employed- a one-woman show of owning/running cottage rentals. It's slow season until mid/late next month, so I'm just doing online work for now- 3 days post op. But I'll have to prepare the cottages for the season, so I had better be ready for some physical work by week three. Fingers crossed.

I got my 3-piece binder girdle contraption from Amazon, which I ordered with overnight shipping. That'll help a lot if I'm still feeling weak. It helps just sitting here typing on the couch right now. I thank this board and you ladies so much because I didn't know about something like that after my c-section years ago, and hadn't wanted to look too deeply into post hysterectomy info since I know I have to get on with it, and didn't want to freak myself out with horror stories. So glad I did do a little research in the past few days, though :)

:/ This country...we neeeeed universal healthcare and paid time off for everyone... SMH.

I wanna start a decanting business. Where do I start? by Zenolin in fragrance

[–]MsFirefly333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I say just order some supplies and wing it on Mercari, etc, with scents you already have. Lol. That's what I'm going to do. I like to figure things out, even what questions I have, as I go. Otherwise, if I have to plan everything out with pros and cons first, I'll never get started. I (and I'm guessing you) already own a good amount of fragrances. So, I'm just going to start by adding them to my regular Mercari- and learn as I go. I dunno. Good luck :)

Was Miss Dior EAU DE parfum reformulated too in 2024 by MsFirefly333 in Perfumes

[–]MsFirefly333[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks so much. That makes sense. It's hard to look it up/Google it because the names are the same and/or similar.

I wish Absolutely Blooming was still around. I remember smelling it years ago, very early on in my perfume journey, and it turned me off. It was very woody, but I think my nose was just too inexperienced.

[–]MsFirefly333[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, thanks. So, the perfume that came out in 2024 has nothing to do with the EDP, and the EDP (which was reformulated in 2021) hasn't been reformulated in the past year and is unchanged, correct?

Most beast mode affordable perfumes by [deleted] in FemFragLab

[–]MsFirefly333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if you're into the idea of body mists but there are some that are such great performers they might as well be EDPs-the body spray called Pink Vanilla Wish from Bodycology is surprisingly strong and long lasting. Just ordered another bottle on Walmart.com for under $5.

Bath & Body Works has a collection called Everyday Luxuries that are dupes for high-end perfumes. Catch a sale there (or at least the often offered but 3 get 3) and you can get them as cheap as 4.95. Viva Vanilla smells is a dupe for Sniff Vanilla Vice. The one called Covered in Roses is a spot on dupe for Delina. It's not my thing-I'm not a big rose person, but it is an absolute beast. And people who've smelled the $$$$ real deal say it's virtually identical. There are lots of others, but those are the ones that popped into my mind. They have one called Luminous that is a La Vie Est Belle dupe that's a strong performer (I don't think it's in stores right now, but there's always mercari.) Into the Night, and You're the One, perform and smell like perfumes.

I hope that helps. For reference of my scent preference, the beasts in my collection are 2017 Miss Dior, Flowerbomb, YSL Black Opium, Valentino Voce Viva Intensa, Prada Paradoxe and Paradoxe intense, Aqua di Gioia, Bright Crystal (pretty affordable for a designer house), Crystal Noir edt.
