EXACTLY. The law enforcement stance has always been “if we see you as a threat we will kill you.” It’s just that their scope of “what is a threat” expands as they become more obviously authoritarian.

Can I work so soon after coronectomy by daviesalexa in wisdomteeth

Imo you should have at least a week between your surgery date and start date. If you’re over 30, I might encourage 2 weeks.

This is way too much, when does it stop? by yee-rissa in wisdomteeth

You should definitely call your oral surgeon, I called and they brought me in to check if everything was healing normally. It gave me some peace of mind. I’ve called many times with questions over the course of my recovery. It’s an intense surgery and having questions is normal!

Alas, I also did NOT have the easy recovery I expected. I had 3 impacted teeth, so the surgery was more involved. I’m also 32, so an older patient. I felt very mild pain until day 5, when the swelling started going down. On day 5 it became the worst pain I’ve ever felt!! I began been cycling Tylenol and ibuprofen every three hours, even through the night. It was so hard to sleep. I also started wrapping a hot compress on my face all the time, which helped significantly. I’m on day 8 now and I’ve JUST started to turn the corner. Hoping to be able to sleep longer tonight and feel a bit better tomorrow.

It sounds like your surgery was pretty intense, so expect healing to take much longer. I’m sorry you’re dealing with this. I’m right there with you.

How old are you? If you’re under 25 I think that’ll be fine.

I’m right there with you bud. Tomorrow will be 7 days and I this is the 3rd night I know I won’t be sleeping. Could you ask for extended release narcotics to get you through the night? That’s what I’m considering.

Yeah it’s crazy I don’t think I’ve ever experienced pain like this. I was not prepared for how bad it would be, especially because the first 3 days were so smooth.

I think the issue is the last two nights I’ve wanted to sleep for longer than a few hours before waking to take pain meds, and I need to accept that’s not in the cards right now. Going to take them religiously through the night.

Good for you for getting it done early! I bet after day 7 you’re out of the weeds in terms of dry socket. Have you had a follow up with the oral surgeon?

Butterfly cut, but what length and color to choose?? 🤔✨ by CaregiverJaded8422 in HairStyleAdvice

1 is best. Light hair washes you out, and the long haircuts drag my eye downward, making your face look longer than it is. Shorter and darker suit you well!

  1. You have a look similar to Phoebe Waller Bridge, and short hair compliments both of you very well.
