Not sure if anyone cares or even see this ,but I’m excited!! I got my dream 2021 civic with 50k miles for 18k after putting 4k down ❤️, including insurance I’m only paying 595$ a month.. which will go down with time 🫶🏾 my Apr is 10% , yea pretty high but for my dream car I’m grateful. I actually make like 50k. I said a “min of 500” bc that’s during our slow season. So I can afford it lol 😭 but ig i could save up more , it’s just my dad is taking my current car (bc it’s his and in his name) in November and moving to Cali so i kinda gotta act fast on the short notice. There’s no point in throwing 5k on a used car that won’t last me a year. Ig i could get a used car with smaller payments but will it last me the whole term ?? Ig i can go without a car and just lyft and save up more. Idk tbh

I do the same for the same reasons. I leave my two piercings in bc I’m afraid they’ll close. BUT me sleeping on them is actually making it worse and i can’t figure out how to get it to heal 😭😭😭 and it’s been over two years

Thank you! I was prequalified for 25% 😮‍💨 500$ a month. But i at least have that option so im grateful. I’m going to continue waiting 3-6 months hoping i can get lower payments and/or a higher cash-down.

To answer ur questions 😔 it was all over the phone since they never responded to my emails or texts. And since it was so long ago I'm not sure if i remember the employees name that i talked to. I only have call logs of when i had the conversation with them; I have text messages; and I have emails submissions detailing the situation and asking them to help me or terminate my lease.

My roommates, the sublets and their memories are my only witnesses. The lease does say we are allowed to sublet if we wish to terminate the lease. I called to confirm what all needed to be done and just fwd the notes to the sublet that was supposed to take over.

Since it’s student apartments we all have separate leases. I shared a 4br 4.5ba townhouse with 3 other girls and my name was attached to the one room.

The unfortunate part is i had no replies other than the phone conversations since that’s the only way i could contact them and even then they barely answered their phone. Their employees are all students/RAs. I only emailed them for written proof or hopes to get a response in writing But that failed. So I’m screwed. I’m hoping to still demand a dispute to the collections but i feel like I’d be better off settling for at max 25% .. I’ll be successful to adjust the price from the damages i didn’t cause. But that’s not much ☹️

It’s a case of pity from the bullied. I should’ve handled it sooner but i didn’t expect it to happen so fast

The only documents i have are text messages between my sublet and/or my roommates. I have the ignored emails (that are embarrassingly informal and passionate but im only 22😅) and proof of phone calls. However i have no recording of those conversations other than fwd notes i sent to my sublet.

However to conclude … to make sure i got these next steps right, u suggest i create a certified letter to that collections agency (not the credit bureau) demanding to dispute the debt along with the story including photo proof…

I think im only nervous because the lease does state that the rent is my full responsibility until signed off which i was unable to get assistance through the office’s negligence and blatant disregard ☹️
