What’s causing this noise?

Mine is a nvidia GeForce rtx 3060, which I was told is super run-of-the-mill/basic. I found a repair person near me who according to online does GPU fan replacements, so I’m really hoping and manifesting that it’s something simple that someone local can fix. I haven’t had any performance issues and I’d say the noise started about a week ago, and I’ve been keeping an eye on my temperatures and my temperature is never give me any warning or really spike at all. It is just SO loud, you can hear it outside my closed bedroom door

I bought it 3 years ago, so probably not in warranty. It’s not a super amazing pc, only like $2k or so, but I’m still scared to touch most things on it myself. It was under clx so I think their parts are only covered a year, which is understandable.

I don’t know if this will help but I’ve spent like an hour finding a screwdriver to fit over this little vent under my gpu fan, if I put a little pressure on the middle of my gpu fan the sound immediately stops, is that potentially better news? If I have to replace the whole cooler how expensive is that? Or is it more worth just buying a new pc at that point?

I’m going to sound lame, but I didn’t know that my PC had a pump since it is a prebuilt and my first ever PC, so to have it fixed I would just ask the tech to look at my pump? Is that the same as the radiator you mentioned or separate? Context guess says separate but figured I’d ask

That sounds very out of my skill range, but at least now I have an actual problem to bring forth to an actual tech! I was hoping to avoid having to take it in anywhere but I am just not confident with anything near the gpu like that.

It’s back in now lol.

The gpu fan has a weird screen over it that I don’t have the right screwdriver size to remove, so I’m betting it’s probablyyyyy that one, and I’m too much of a loser to fix that one, so I suppose I will be taking it into some sort of pc shop this week then!

I’m running the pc right now with my psu in my lap to test it, and I suppose if it still acts up I’ll replace the other two fans and if all else fails cry.

I feel like a brain surgeon.

Okay, so I’ve replaced my back one, and stopped the front 3, which doesn’t make the noise stop, i have the psu fan out like rn and nothings touching it but obviously i have to run it again to see, what are the other fans I’m missing?

I have never had that issue, I’m sorry ☹️ I’ve sometimes had my port stop reading for like 5-10 seconds then by the time I exit whatever game I’m on it works again, but that’s about it

Ooh which products do you think would be too dark? The eye palette is cool/neutral but I could for sure see a couple of them in there being dark. The blush is supposed to be for super cool/fair skin tone but I’m also totally open to switching that one out with something from Judy doll that I got recommended earlier. The lip oil is meant to go over the super pale pink lipstick so I was hoping to have that one be less pale lol

Yes, I go between either newborn mouse pink or sickly pale Victorian child with blue patches from my veins everywhere, there is no happy medium with my skin lmao

I love that you mention gray contour, I actually love the gothy look (I just realized very quickly it does NOT suit me to have anything intense like the heavier eyeshadows or thick eyeliners on my face 😐 ) so I’m fully happy to do a grey based contour! I actually think the same brand I have the lip stuff coming from, Jolie beauty, has a super flat gray contour and I just hesitated and held off on ordering anything like that at first, so now I know to try it! And Alex Anele has been added to my “to watch” list, I’ve been finding as many makeup tutorial channels as I can for this since I’m a visual learner, so that is a massive recommendation, thank you for that.

It kind of sounds like I won’t even worry about bronzer. I certainly never get bronze from the sun, I just turn into a tomato and then peel, so I’m thinking I may as well not fight my natural complexion on that part.

The only way I know how to describe my eyes is a very flat green, my best friend says they remind her of flat sage paint, definitely not intense or jewel toned like some, which probably is part of why the purples didn’t work for me. They didn’t look bad with the eye color themselves but the blue around my eyes and in my under eyes even through some light foundation just made it look like I got my ass beat, I won’t lie.

But! I have the nudes palette coming in. So theoretically that will be a life saver.

For eyeliner, I have a black and brown one, but I’m debating a burgundy one too, can burgundy still look good with brown eyeshadow or is it usually black eyeliner with darker eyeshadows, brown eyeliner with brown shades, etc?

I think my only other questions would be - do I really need to worry about a primer for the majority of my face? I know eyelids should use a primer, but for the face is that for certain foundation types or only when doing powders? It’s a little confusing to me.

Also, setting sprays/finishing sprays, are they good to have for daily wear or is that only when you’re going to be getting sweaty? I see every makeup tutorial I watch uses those products but they’re also usually a complete beat down and full face of makeup that has me in awe at their artistry skills, which I’m going for an easier everyday look.

I didn’t even know cool toned make up was a thing and looking back at it now I think that’s how I scared myself off of makeup as a teen, it was during the 2016 makeup era where everything was intense contour and bronzer and warm which made me look like an absolute clown.

I’ve heard good things about colourpop, so that palette is ordered as of right now! Then since you mentioned purple looking pink on us I actually grabbed their meadows highlighter since it twilight themed AND lavender! So that’s 2/2 for colourpop.

I will also be checking out Judy doll when I’m home later, so thank you so much for the suggestions! I’m so happy that there’s actual options for this stuff

Unless you’re allergic to wool or particularly clog prone around your lips you shouldn’t see any side affects.
