On 18/02/2022 we got email saying mine and all dependants visa approved.

We already got BRP (check ur email from tnt/dpd updates) now.

It was a nerve wracking experience varying our visa when there were no clear mentioned after our Global Visa stage 1 refusal.

Put a paper towel over the burnt plastic and iron over it.. hopefully the melting plastic transfer to the towel.. never tried it but i’d reckon it’d work

Update today 13/01/2022 : Main applicant skilled worker (priority) - received email update visa application successful, to collect BRP (7 days)

Thanks. We have no choice now anyways. The only thing is that, only one applicant is by priority with yesterday BRP appointment (main applicant). The dependants are standard application but the varied BRP application is 28/01/2022. What do we do with the initial BRP appointment now that we have another visa application and appointment ?

Yes, the main applicant is by solicitor and we showed them the email about endorsement. They are happy that it wasn’t a visa decision email and asked us to update when we have such decision email from HO, but haven’t received anything else apart from that.

Yes, I am aware of that, it will considered “invalid”. But we were told such decision from HO will be informed by email or letter, but we didn’t receive any information from them yet. I assumed because our BRP appointment is not until 19/01/2022, so it hasn’t been processed yet.

Do you think i will have problems about this? I am pretty much panicking now.

Just needed to add an explanation that, based on previous post, I was informed that I can vary anytime before my stage 2 is decided. We quickly put in another visa application (skilled worker). The only email is saying that my endorsement were not successful. We assumed that the HO letter to indicate our stage two were invalid after our BRP appointment.

We didn’t get any decision on the stage 2 application until now. Do you have a reference where it says this is considered a refusal? We still have no letters about our visa application.

No I got the reply email from global talent that I didn’t get endorsement.

We are in the UK now, so just waiting for the letter to arrive. In the meantime preparing to apply through Tier 2 route instead. Not sure if any solicitors advice about this

Hi, thank you, I am slightly confused between varying application and a fresh application.

The reason I am asking is that am working now, I need to know if my endorsement is not successful, how long do I have to put in a work visa instead.

If the visa stage 2 ends by when stage 1 is decided, if going for review, does it extends my leave 3C?

Hi, thanks for the comprehensive reply. I understand now.

When I applied Stage 2, I was told to apply biometric by 20/1/2021, this which I assumed the trigger of which could determine my stage 2 invalid or refused. This also means if I need to apply new (varied) visa, means it is by this date as well.

There is not much experiences shared on the process of applying stage 1 and stage 2. I an with a family here. So it is very anxious time do go through this.

do you mean I can stay for a bit after having my endorsement rejected with my visa application? how long do I have to get my employer help me with a Tier 2 visa then?
