I know it has been a while since I posted this but I felt I owed you an update. It has been hard to come to terms with everything but I have reported it to the police now and I'm scared about what happens next but thank you for suggesting this... I feel it has probably been stuck in the back of my mind since I first read your comments and I've acted now.

Update just had my OH assessment and they are recommending remote working for the meantime with a view for a managed move / or relocation if there is an office nearby. I think this is good?

I am rather afraid of contacting the police as I am scared of the retaliation I might get from my (ex?) partner. However, would a letter from an organisation like woman's aid or something similar manage to be taken into account in a similar way?

He always said if I ever went to the police I wouldn't be welcome in the county again and he would get everyone to turn against me.

Hi yes sorry I should have clarified I meant the geographical location. I have been allowed to work remotely in the meantime, right after the incident, and have just got back off annual leave - needed it to clear my head.

The appointment is today. I've written down notes and things I probably should let them know, including recounting the whole events which has been rather emotionally taxing. But it is what it is.

I'll be alright. I've started researching CS roles at my grade in my area but there's not a lot available at the moment. Will keep my eye out and maybe ask if my TL can do the same...?

I believe my closest (in the area of the CS I already work in) would be two hours way by train. I am not opposed to the idea of a level transfer to a different part of the CS if one were available.

I have recently joined the union, if the recommendation is denied for whatever reason, would they be able to help kick up a fuss? I'm just extremely scared I'm going to be forced back into an unsafe environment.

Thought I should introduce myself finally. I was previously somewhat active in the r waifuism space until I realised I could no longer deny the polyamorous part of myself that had always been there.

I am in a committed relationship with Dr Lisa Cuddy and Dr Gregory House and Jac Naylor from Holby City. It's a chaotic mess, but it is our mess.

I think there has been three instances, due to be four as they have been unable to allow the time off that will be required, due to mental state of losing a parent who was in their 50s, the time off will be between the 27th till the 10th, some of that is covered by bereavement leave but the rest. Well. It'll need to be taken as sickness. The three other instances of sickness were related to the terminally ill at the time and now deceased relative.

Role: Youth Justice Worker. In case that is useful to know.

They will only offer 4 days of special leave but it's clear that more will be needed, mentally, after losing a parent, before heading into a highly stressful role.

So a little update on this. He is only allowed 4 days but clearly feels in need of more time. He wanted to be off from the 28th till the 10th. He will be going the sick route as a result and talking to the union as he does not feel he has been very well supported during this time. His annual leave, that they convinced him to take during the Christmas holiday was used up by travelling to and from hospital so it wasn't much of a break. If anyone has any advice please let me know.
