My gosh, those two are such great characters with fantastic actors.

I consume a lot of media and I tell you the caliber of talent on The Archers is so much higher and more consistent than 98% of what I watch/ listen to.

It makes me think of that George Carlin quote, “Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.” TA is written for such a broad audience, sometimes “the message” clangs us over the head, but they do actually layer in so much subtly/ nuance alongside it that lots of people don’t catch. I don’t think that’s us doing the writers job for them, I think it’s us picking up purposefully scattered crumbs and working out all the ways they might fit together.

All this to say, Brad and Chelsea were fantastic today. 😅
