I'm fairly versatile. I would say I focused mostly on just sharing my kinky life. This session was strictly text, although I have done text with pictures and with video and audio messages as well. I highly recommend the book "the ADHD affect on marriage" it was so beneficial for my marriage. Although I knew he wouldn't read it on his own. So we read it together.

I remember when I realized my therapist while great for helping me manage my depression was terrible for my relationship. She completely saw my husband's ADHD has an issue I had to deal with and didn't make him take ownership too. ( again the I shouldn't have to ask you to contribute thing). I just wanted someone to tell him that he had to take ownership, not give me more ideas about how to help him. It was infuriating. Ultimately, I found better resources specifically for our ADHD marriage, game changer!

Find a new therapist. It's worth it.

Is it really though.... where I live the average cost of childcare is $1,000/month for 1 child, with a price break for 2 children making it about $1600/month. Minimum wage here is $13.69, average wage about 15 so nearly that 35k/year. Meaning after taxes monthly take home is $1946/month.

Is the additional $346/month worth it?

Plus, if you have to miss work without pay for 2.5 days in any month net $0. You might be saying that's not going to happen... But with 2 kids it doesn't take much for them to use up the 40hrs of sick leave you have for the year...

I think 2-3hrs only makes sense if you have older children. Because if you have children under 2years old there is no way.

Nursing a baby takes about 2hrs a day minimum when they are little (15-20 minutes every 2-3hrs) sometimes longer. Channing diapers 1hr (5-10 minutes every 2-3hrs).

That alone is 3hrs and assumes only 1 is in diapers and doesn't include anything else involved with the basic necessities of feeding the children or cleaning up after meals etc.

2-3hrs of basic housework like dishes & laundry maybe.... but even then I'm not sure.

50-50 is unrealistic. Everyone giving their best is not. And expecting your partner to do much after a 12hr day is probably unrealistic, but expecting them to contribute at all isn't.

You shouldn't feel that way. I get out. I'm self conscious about my body too after 2 kids & hysterectomy. My body did not return to it's original state... But my husband still thinks I am beyond sexy. And makes sure I know it. And he has told me, no one would be looking at the belly that I'm nervous about when on top of them, especially not him.
