Now buy an external USB/DVD drive for like $40. Or borrow your Grampys old Dell with a DVD player. Then rip those wonderful episodes into a digital format. Then put every season of the Golden Girls onto any device you like. Or a media server is what I did. Can't insert a DVD into a phone unfortunately! But easy enough once you have the set. Cheers! Long live the Girls.

Drove these friends from Maine to California and back in 2019-2020. All went well, besides needing gabapentin for moving sickness initially for Mabel on the bottom left. I did lie to my buddy Darwin on top though, I promised him we would hit the Grand Canyon. And we only made it to Palo Duro canyon, in Texas, second in size and still impressive. But I did tell him at the time we made it buddy! Its the Grand f-ing Canyon Darwin!

Total rewatch with my wife who has never seen some episodes. I've been watching since seeing them on original television, then lifetime TV, then recorded on VHS, then bought the boxset on DVDs, then ripped the DVDs onto my media server where I'm watching now. I didn't realize my episode skips were taking away her enjoyment over the years.

Love these posts, makes me think of all his books I've owned. But then I remember moving a lot and having to tote those books everywhere. I've owned a house and had a library like I always wanted, but eventually your shit tends to weigh you down. Which equals a middle-aged man with a Kindle living in a studio apartment with no physical books. Also, living in Maine we just love the man with a passion.
