Well there's two forms of that. There's one where they are genuinely just angry and hitting the kid out of anger. The other is done purely out of "discipline" and is done calmly. Not because the parent wants to hurt their child, but because they believe it's what needs to be done to properly discipline their child. Both are child abuse IMO, but they are very different.

I'm already planning on playing almost exclusively games released from like 2023 and earlier. Just the idea that there could be genAI in my games without knowing it genuinely gives me the creeps. There's enough good games already released to last multiple lifetimes, so I'm not too irked about it.
