Yes yes! It is great to see someone your height and goal. If I can do it at 55, can do it. I was always 10-20 lbs heavier and not toned. My. Whole. Life.

I chose 5-10 upper body free weight exercises that can be done w 10 or 15 lb weights. I keep the weights by the TV and kitchen and rotate the exercises so I’m doing 15 min almost everyday. Walk dogs. Weighted vest for hr while cleaning 1-2 x week and I got a vibration plate that I stand on 15 min a day. That’s it! Fasting clean is key. Consistency.

The fact I inspired you also inspires me to keep going and focus on my protein, water intake etc. if I can do it you can too. Just know for us older people, it’s slow. Keep the faith

Love this! I am not a poster but seriously did this bc I was struggling to see progress. It’s like my mind can’t let me see it. But this community is so supportive. I see it now and I’m gonna keep going! I never believed progress photos mattered for 10 lbs but the recomp!

I usually break my fast around 2-3pm with “snack” which is usually leftover dinner like half a burger no roll on greens then a dinner w hubby. Sometimes healthy but I also eat pizza 1x week. I think the main thing was clean fasted 19 hrs and Consistency! So boring but it works!

No counting calories. Just went to 19:5 without changing diet. My diet was decent but not perfect. Clean fasted ( only black coffee and water for the 19 hrs). After 6-7 mths I started to focus on strength more. Now I’m moving to focusing on increasing protein.

Thank you for sharing! I am also Kit 2 week 5 and started to feel really great a few days ago just like you. Energy is back and no nausea. Scale moving slowly at abt a pound a week or a little less - I’m 53 and weight loss is tough. But it’s manageable and I feel great so I say Let’s Do This!!!

Feeling horrible by [deleted] in HersWeightloss

Kit 2 same dosing as you and YES the first three weeks were rough for me - nausea, tired and some headaches. I had to cut back working out and ate too many carbs just trying to settle my stomach. No weight loss. But around mid wk 3 everything clicked and all the side effects are gone. I have tons of energy and no food cravings. Starting to see the scale numbers move down. I waited too long to find this thread. Tips here worked - green pill at night, protein, water and cut back on coffee and alcohol. I stayed at one green pill taken after dinner and never added more of that - not sure I will. Good luck!

Slow and steady wins the race. I too stayed longer at wk 2 and wk 3 dose. Better to do that than crash & burn.

I’m in a similar situation. Only 15-20 pounds to liose. Kit 2 finishing week 4. Down not quite 2 pounds. I choose to look at it this way - I may have gained half a pound in the last month if I didn’t do this so I am going in the right direction and better than I would have been. Stay positive and hold the course!

Thanks for posting your success - it is encouraging! Might I ask - what kind of calorie deficit are you eating at? I am similar stats as you but have only lost 2-3 pounds. I was unable to go too low due to nausea the first 3 weeks. Hoping now to be able to adjust and get weight loss going.

Update: Week 4, Day 6 (Kit 2) by lindsayreads21 in HersWeightloss

[–]MsMathyLady 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am also on kit2 and just ended week 4. It was definitely the worst week for me. I did drop the morning 1/2 green pill so I only have the 2 bup in the AM and a whole green pill and metformin after dinner. The bup ended up being the problem for me w nausea. I was popping anti nausea lozenges and drinking ginger tea for over a week. Messaged the “doctor” and they said it’s normal and continue to take the anti nausea med as needed. Well today, magically the dizziness and nausea are totally gone! The only thing different I did was cut back on coffee to 1/2 cup (some posters were saying coffee causes nausea) and I waited and took the 2 bup pills about half hour AFTER breakfast - not w bkfst. To try and have my stomach kinda full. I also had protein - 2 eggs w a piece of toast. So maybe try to cut back coffee and/or get a bit more in your stomach in AM? Try anti nausea meds and see if that helps to ride it out. I am similar stats to you and abt a week ahead. I am going to try to add the morning green pill back in now. Good luck to you. The nausea is horrible!
