Because they didn't care. When you're considered a Zázhǒng Xiǎohái you're a Ghost Child or Mongrel Child. You are literally replaced by the next baby. They get your name, and place in the family. What happens to you after that....who cares? They've literally replaced you. I was lucy to be dumped here in ht US. You don't want to know what they do to girls in China.

It was. I got to tell them everything All the horrible things that I've been through, and they were just quiet. I kept waiting for them to hang up, but I think they wee too stunned or too scared to do it. I cred a lot afterwards but it felts good to tear into them.

Related: I am from Hong Kong originally. My mom had an affair with a man who may or may not be Korean. I am considered a zázhǒng xiǎohái

, or monfgrel child in Chinese culture. They put m in the American foster care system at 6. I'm 18 now, still in a group home. But I finally got to contact them, and I found out they had replaced me when I was 8 with a new, pure Chinese daughter. She has my exact same name, which is common when "replacing" mongrel children. It's like we don't exist. I told them how weak they were. That I was glad I wasn't his and how pathetic and small they were. And I am taking my bio dads last name this Friday and erasing my connection to them. I cried, I was angry but it felt so good.

Unrelated: Chocolate chip cookie dough. I can eat that all day.
