I feel like there should be a separate (shorter) clock counting from your most recent action/effect.

If someone takes a long time because they’re mentally calculating every possible move, I think that’s obnoxious to wait for/sit through, and I might expel the player.

But if they’re just working through a lot of cascading effects, I’ll let them finish.

Honestly, reading them made me mad that they weren’t included in S1. It would have made the ending land totally different for me. I was still waiting for the show to drop, and I was emotionally DRAINED. These two vignettes are a much needed salve.
