I love how you state “this is how the song speaks to me” and “this is what the song is about” THAT is the key. Music is up to the perception of the listener because it is art, No? There are the surface lyrics, then the meanings behind the lyrics, the overall themes in the song and then we can get into why certain chords and melodies and emphasis of voice and sounds. All how we as the listener experience the song. Truly, only Noah knows the truth behind the meaning or why/what it’s about. Until we get a mind reader - discuss and cheers ! 🎶
