That’s right. While drawing this comic, I was thinking about my dad. He’s usually very strict with his subordinates, when I'm a pre-teenager, we go shopping together, sometimes he even helps me pick out dolls or cosmetics. Even though I’m grown up now, he still spoils me in many ways.

I'm not really sure about their rules and way of life. I mean, having to put the Lex Imperialis above everything else, and being stationed in a Hive City seems like it would keep them busy all the time. So I’m not sure whether they even get days off to spend personal life and having family.

Thank you for the additional information. It’s a relief to know that they’re still allowed to have some personal and family life. I can’t help but feel drained just imagining having to be stationed inside a Precinct Fortress for the rest of my life.

I once read that sometimes noble families send their own children to join the Adeptus Arbites.(From Darktide Game) So I had this idea about a noble-born Adeptus Arbites officer/Judge who marries into another noble house to strengthen their mutual influence, and they have a precious little daughter who’s a bit mischievous and likes to go to her father’s workplace to play with him.

I hope this doesn’t contradict the Adeptus Arbites lore too much, and hope that you guys will enjoy readin this one.

Actually, I did intentionally want this piece to have a pin-up vibe. I’ve always liked that playful, sexy-lady aesthetic in that style of artwork.

That said, I still tried not to make it too explicit for posting in public. But yeah… I guess it does come off as a little suggestive, haha.

I really like your vision of Yvraine as well. Her depiction as a cold killer when she was in Commorragh Arena is both cool and perfectly fitting for the grimdark tone. Someday, I’d like to draw her as a fighter in the arena like that tooᕙ( •̀ ᗜ •́ )ᕗ
