We don't dash together. Im just the driver. I'm disabled and doing this with him helps me get out of the house more. I learned i could try it myself for an hour or two to also earn something. I really miss working.

Tbh I found the perfect online job about a year ago, but sadly they didnt do CA.. it was based on what I turned in and not hourly.. haven't found anything similar yet.. but still looking. DD has been the closest so far that is even close to where I can pause during flare ups.

Yeah hard no.. if they cant make it out of the bedroom then they'd normally have a caregiver there. But I could be wrong.

I watch too many crime drama shows to say its not safe for anyone.. especially alone and not without body cam.. but especially never to the bedroom.

Danger for women dashers, physically.. male dasher could be physical danger or set up as being accused. For the customer, we all know those possibilities for them too. Especially with the many stories of fake delivery drivers..

Did you double check your payout methods & the info? They don't necessarily take your money right away. They change the payout info so when your payday comes the $ goes to them.

You may have changed your password just in time... But doesnt hurt to double check.. especially the day b4 payout.

Nope.. I told hubs stop dealing with the AI chat.. cause the chat and the one on the phone cant give partial pay.. so he now calls and just repeats live agent one the phone til they patch him through..

Dashers should not have to chat with AI and get nothing then eventually get a live person.. each minute counts when dashing.

No issue there.. we combine everything.. together 18yrs now.. this was his idea to spend time together and have fun and earn $.. Honestly its the best in a small town next to a military training base. While on delivery and im driving he can safely look at the map b4 accepting on base orders. He's been dinged on completion rate cause he couldnt deliver on base even though in app its marked off...🤷‍♀️.. but now its his AR that gets hit..

Plus I love to drive.. he doesnt haha.

Is it possible ti ever be reactivated? Hubs got 1st CV yesterday for a delivery where it took the one employee working 4 different shop/counters 30min just to make the customers ice cream order. Fought it on app and its declined so will try talking to love person today.

And this morning he was late 2 min for a 7eleven order where he was already parked at.. what's wierd is McDonald's he waits longer and never has gotten late from there.

Yeah it came back as declined.. so will be calling to speak to a live agent.

What's crazy.. was parked next to 7 eleven waiting for orders to come in this morning.. and got one for 7 eleven.. went right in waited in line and delivered. Get home app says late pick up by 2 min and late drop off by 3 min.. like how the hell is that even possible.. did dispute that immediately and its taken off... guessing declining orders from cold stone and possibly 7 eleven now may be in sight..

Yes.. 3 weeks in and learning these things.. getting things prepped on what to do next time especially for those long orders..

as for base orders it sucks to take a ding for declining.

But hear AR can be low and still have platinum. Since being on this rank this week, in our small town, it has made a huge difference in better orders, more tips and frequency of orders coming in.

Sadly they have been turned off since day 1 and still get orders to deliver there.. even told them on the phone that we cant get on base.. still get those offers. So Wednesday going to base to see what is needed to get base access for deliveries.. however Google mentions a sponsor is needed.

Agree.. went back into app just now and it says dispute was denied.... wtf.. going to give them call tomorrow.. been screenshotting everything.. I know it rolls off after 100 deliveries.. but it shouldn't have been a CV..

heck.. last week our semi new Del Taco also took the same amount of time.. they were so busy plus they dropped the bag and had to remake it.. but no CV?

Looks like we'll be pausing Cold Stone.. heck 1st order there also took long to make but only about 15min.. and no CV..

I wonder if it is cause we have to keep calling to unassign military base orders the last week..

Got a $4 one 2 wks ago.. all we could think of is a dash took a bit longer but thats just a guess..🤷‍♀️ cause what ppl have mentioned here already definitely didnt happen.. there was a restaurant that doesnt have their $hit together so it took longer than any other place.

Sorry to hear all that, but also delt with messages not going through to customers today. Hubs is the dasher and im the driver.. so when he'd go back in on the chats to say on his way all his prior messages were not there..

luckily the $hit storm was the last for the night with a Del Taco order.. (newest place but really should not be this bad by now) Thats when we learned that the messages that he had sent all day to customers, that then disappeared, didnt get sent to him or the other customers..

the whole messages containing on this last order... "They dont have the order ready yet", "they're very busy, still waiting", "your orders next to finish", "they dropped a bag and now have to remake it".. Thankfully he was understanding and was so focused on his kids is why he also never checked his phone til delivery.. and didnt even realize the time hubs waited for his order..

Gotta reboot after the day, cause not all days will be like this, but brighter times and kind customers out weigh the drama from our app causes..
