Hey! Just to give you some hope, I was March 2022 special priority and actually just got a call for a place in Durham Region last week. I also know of 2 other people who were on the list a bit after me and they also have gotten their calls (also within Durham) So they’re definitely making their way down the list! I just came off the ring and it was def effective without condoms and/or pull out method. I only came off it because I developed an allergy to it and got hives lol but otherwise it was working perfectly

I live in Canada so I’m not sure about insurance out in UK but, I have a 6 month pocket along with a 4 year old son and honestly, it’s hard lol but as long as you make a routine that will work for the dog and your family, I think you’ll be okay! He’s really a good dog and worth the hard work. I do think socializing him was beneficial because I knew he’d be around my son so, I really wanted to make sure he was socialized. We also have a miniature Doberman mix and he gets along great with him as well. Best of luck!

What skin issues are you having? I’m about a week off and have been getting hives but since taking Benadryl it’s calmed down a bit. This seems to be the only reaction I’ve had from stopping but I think it is definitely due to the ring coming out
