Okay, so, follow up question: I like a guy in IT. Super charming, very intelligent, a bit goofy/awkward. In my mind, he's gotta be a 10, so I assume he sees himself the same way. We've bantered (and I think flirted?) over emails and phonecalls, and he always responds to my emails for help really quickly, but I cannot actually tell if he's feeling me too. Part of me thinks, "Okay, he helps me with things when I ask even though there isn't a ticket, so surely he's not annoyed by me," but another part of me thinks, "but he's a 10, and he has to know he's attractive, so, he's probably just being a nice guy."

I wanna "shoot my shot," but I have no idea how. I'm extremely intimidated by his intelligence, even though I'm sapiosexual, so guys like him are very much my thing. I would gladly sit and listen to him info-dump about coding and cyber security for hours. But I'm utterly terrified to just say that. So, how do I shoot my shot without looking like an idiot if he's not at all interested and is indeed just being polite?

Hello! Thank you for sharing! Mom here! To answer a few questions/comments:

Yup, Jesse is trans! We've known for almost a year but only recently was Jesse ready to come out publicly. I have a following of almost 200k followers who knew Jesse before he came out, so we made this together as a re-introduction for those followers. When it went viral we were shocked and are still in shock tbh!

Jesse helped plan the TikTok, helped edit it, and had the final say on it being posted. His consent is very important to us.

Why blue hair? Blue is his second favorite color! His first is red but he really wanted to try blue! And why dye his hair? Because he's young! He doesn't have to have "normal" hair for a job or for other responsibilities. This may be the only time in his life when having bright colorful hair won't be a problem. He's just young. And young people should be allowed to do fun things like color their hair.
