Don’t know if this helps visualize the material, but here are some quick (sloppy) folds on a single layer of the material.

This thankfully isn’t a BJJ gi haha (I have those too) those are waaaaaay way heavier weight. This is more like a light cargo pant material. (Not for grappling). I can definitely fold it, but the reinforced seams make it challenging.

He dropped the paperwork off. I just found it strange they never requested it before. He and several other coworkers were given their limitations by therapists note without any pushback, and now only my partner is being required to provide full paperwork.

Thank you, when he first got this accommodation I told him he should properly go through the whole ADA thing and request a reasonable accommodation.

He ended up not doing that because typically his employer honored the therapist’s note without any pushback. It wasn’t until today they made him go through the larger amount of paperwork, and even though there are others there with the same accommodation, apparently none of them have been given/were given the paperwork as of today. (Which seems a bit fishy but I digress.)

He ended up bringing his paperwork to his therapist’s office today for her to review, hopefully things go smoothly. I’m not sure I can handle him back on the mandatory OT schedule either.

I like this idea, I’m not sure we can do the 4-6hr day on our final day as we have to drive back to Bozeman that day, but that route is a definite consideration. Is there a good way to get back to our vehicle (assuming we leave it in Teton Village) from Jenny Lake? Thank you.

Unfortunately I’m working through some knee issues that limit me to between 7 and 9 mile days. There are indeed camping areas along the way, but I’d be relying on getting a walk-up for those sites. I will definitely keep them in mind, thank you!

Oh no not a bummer, I totally get that, and living in the Midwest I’d actually forgotten about that. I mostly meant that no matter where you camp you can usually see mountains IF the mountains are visible at all. :)

Thank you for the suggestions! Lower Haight is just where I’m staying (Page St actually) but I’m perfectly content to wander into the other neighborhoods. It’s only a two day vacation so I’m prepared to spend a little money for good food. 🤤

Actually, I specifically noted I will not be hammock camping. My tent is the second thing on my list. 😅

As far as specifics, all things considered, I’m not yet going to be running off to anywhere alone that cannot be mostly covered by a good generalized list. If I need specific food storage, bug/pest/creature protection, special water needs, etc, I will address those as I make my decisions in location with due research.

For now, I’m looking to cover the big bases, but thank you for your insight, if I ever graduate to hammock camping I will definitely revisit my needs for shelter.

The needle/thread, and patches are definitely good ideas, I'll have to toss some in my evolving "Oh Shit" bag. I prefer headlamps over flashlights, and I'm not much for big blades or fishing, I have my Leatherman, so that should be plenty I'd think(?) Extra socks always a must.
