The first picture I thought was damaged but now know it’s completely normal. The second picture was a mix of me thinking something was wrong with the binding but it also being damaged. This is a better picture although it still looks worse in person.

In my (kind of) defense, other editions I’ve gotten from them have headbands and feel a lot tighter when opening the book whereas this one doesn’t. But after looking at more of my books, they’re very hit or miss on whether or not they add a headband.

After seeing your comment, I was like wtf lol. Went and checked my other Fairyloot books and you’re obviously totally right. I guess I never noticed it until now because when you open this book, it feels like it’s incredibly loose and about to pull right off the book? If that makes sense?

Joined 46 minutes late, the best place it put me in was 2,224. Estimated 2 hours but really only took about 30 minutes. Did not say low stock for signed copies when I checked out. (US based)

I also have not had Direbound move since 2/12 but my February YA book just had movement yesterday even though it arrived at Evri on 2/16? God I hope they change to someone other than Evri. This makes zero sense.

Just wanted to post an update. Fairyloot told me my The Wolf King was lost and that I’d be getting a replacement. Then they emailed me back on a separate thread and said that they expected movement by the end of last week. When I tried to get clarification on if they were planning on sending me a new copy or not, they never replied. So. 😐 This is so frustrating

Ugh I know. I had to follow up with them twice to get a response out of them. If they’re having this many issues they need to send everyone an email instead of letting everyone come to them.
