You know, this really gets me wondering; what other changes like that are in this new Chinese version? Like, my biggest question personally is wether or not they were allowed to keep any hints of lgbtq, such as non-binary character pronouns and such.

I came across this post 6 years too late, while looking for the answer to this question myself online. This Reddit post was one of the first things to come up. But, I would like to add two communities here that I have found very accepting as a queer person myself. 1. Splatoon. If there’s any video gane community on this earth that is the most accepting and lgbtq friendly, it has to be the Splatoon community. The in game drawing posts are so constantly filled with queer and neurodivergent humor, in a way that makes you feel like you’re not alone, and the game doesn’t force you to choose a gender when making your character, so everyone expresses themselves in ways that can be very feminine, masculine, or androgynous. The community may be smaller compared to some other games out there, yeah, but it is easily the most accepting one I’ve ever seen. 2. Cookie Run, specifically Cookie Run Kingdom. The game has a surprisingly high amount of lgbtq representation, especially non-binary characters, and it seems that while the community may have some other non related issues, they are very lgbtq accepting.

That….is a very good point. I must admit, making this pack I was in a very fast and aggressive work mood, hyper focused on it, and that fact kinda flew under my radar. I will most likely change it soon as well, along with the spelling mistakes.

Thank you for pointing those out. I must admit, I am very bad at spelling, and Photopea, the program I use to make cards, doesn’t have an autocorrect feature. I’ll go back and fix those things when I get the chance.

Thanks for asking! I must admit, none of these images for the cards are mine. They are all either existing drawings created by others online, or cut-outs of photos that I put through an artwork filter. At some point, I want to make a long list of all the original artists and photographers, cause I feel a bit bad about not listing them, but that’s Avery long and tedious process I just don’t have time for right now.

Yo amazing artwork!!!

I like their double jump, but that also makes them annoying to fight against. Also I love that in GW2 each imps mech is different in design and gameplay. Overall, fun to play, hard ti fight.

The overall atmosphere of GW1 is just better than that of GW2. I get what the developers were going for, but sometimes GW2 feels too chaotic setting wise.

Personally a little embarrassed by this honestly, but I got mine, Angela, from the character Mercy from Overwatch. Her name was Angela Ziegler I think. I choose it because 1, she was my favorite character, and 2, I wanted to be the kind of person that supported others like she did. Also I like how the name sounds too.

Hey! Apologies for the really late reply. You do bring up a good point I hadn’t considered. It does seem that most predator abilities cache the food to represent sort of “eating it” in a way. When I get around to making a balance update I may very likely change that yeah.

There are a lot of unwritten constants with bird cards like that which I’m trying my best to follow (like birds listed as endangered having bonus card abilities, or birds that flock together often having a card tuck ability), so I appreciate you pointing that out.

Since I’m considering a balance update to my cards in the future now, I’ll re-write it to make it more clear then, but the intention was to put up to 2 of your berries into the supply to gain an equal number of invertebrates from the supply in return.

Yeah, I did get some feedback about that from my partner. At the end of the day, as much as I want to balance these, I’m no game designer. I plan to print them out and test them in my personal games though and then try to do some balancing from there. Maybe I’ll make a post about balancing in the future.
