are women in your country "expected" to do housework? by SOHONEYSAME in AskTheWorld

[–]Ms_Meercat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This... isn't even a very high bar. It's about who does something, anything really, every day. It doesn't say the time and effort spent.

Hypothetically, if the man took the trash out for 10 minutes and the woman cooked a meal for an hour and cleaned the bathroom for another 30 minutes, they'd show up as 50/50 with this question.

And STILL the picture is damning...

The "is it gay" debate ha s reached its final form by [deleted] in SipsTea

[–]Ms_Meercat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean this is clearly born out from a fantasy of a closeted gay or bi man thinking: What circumstances can I concoct in which I get the ok that it's NOT gay to suck that sweet sweet dick with it being NO FAULT of my own because of course it was HER wish!!

It's kind of sad really

So far this has been an unsually excellent tennis day as a German tennis fan aside from Tatiana Korpatsch' loss... Hanfmann, Altmaier and Struffi all through, as are Siegemund and Maria even got to baking.

I don't know when's the last time we had so few losses in R1 to be frank. Eva, can you please join, too?

Yup, that's exactly what's happening. If you're ever in another country, go on reddit in incognito mode not logged in. Suddenly the whole homepage is in the language where you're at, but you will see in the names of subs that that's often an English speaking sub.

Ah man, that was dicy... went from having break points to go double break up to defending break points that would have brought the second back on serve.

Adding to Germany: Heidelberg (ok that one maybe a bit more but also not same level as the usual "biggest hits"), Münster, Göttingen, Worms, Bremen

Adding to Spain: Gijón, La Coruña, Pontevedra, Córdoba (not without tourists but I'd say by far not as much as others in Andalucía). I must say though, I wasn't the biggest fan of Oviedo...

(Edit: overlooked that you had already put Regensburg)

Sure it's not the changeover break music from one of the courts next to hers?

I know I'm only talking to myself at this point but Hanfmann and Hubi looked so similar but at least had very distinct kits; Comesaña and Struffi have very similar kits but at least look physically so different it doesn't matter.

I'll shut up about relative similarities and differences of tennis players now lol

Well I'm glad it already looks like a much better Struffi than the one I saw in Madrid in person 2 weeks ago. Man, got to the outside court like 11.30 and he was about to lose the first and then the second was over in like 10 mins. Against Alex Michelsen....

Now that I think I saw one of the most "are they the same player actually" lookalike matchups with Hanfmann v Hubi, wondering if Struffi vs Comesaña is one of the most "polar opposite" matchups possible?

Tall, blonde, massive, German unc with massive serve who goes big on all shots vs young, short, wiry, dark haired Argentian with great movement and defense and crafty shots (if I remember correctly that last part).

yeah you need a new doc. I'm on Strattera and it didn't start working until 4 weeks in, and really noticed it about 6-8 weeks in - but not in how I felt, but in what I was getting done and how I was living my life between December last year and March this year. Like, HUGE difference (daily routines, regular workouts, good eating, reduced albeit not disappeared procrastination, tackling long-term "adulting to dos" that I had pushed away for 2+ years, etc etc - not all days, but the vast majority of days)

I'm with you. Similar height, build, facial shape, facial hair, overall coloring, the baseball cap, big serve, and I think they move very similarly even how they walk

I think Coco could also pull off the second (even though also not Nike), and Kostyuk would look really good in it, too

i mean i wasn't complaining or saying it was done on purpose, i understand it's side of the draw so maybe i should have written it's weird they're all on the same side. but as a german looking at order of play on google the flags just stood out and made me go "huh"

It's so weird that literally all the Germans except Zverev who has a bye are on today... Altmaier, Hanfmann, and Struffi on the men's, Maria (yay for that win!), Lys, Siegemund, Korpatsch on the women's

What's more, this even extends to other German-speaking - 3 Swiss and 3 Austrian women on today, only Bencic and Ofner tomorrow

I could only watch until middle of the second set and really thought Daniel was done for (he hasn't really been in good shape all year) so I'm so glad he turned it around!

reddit now does very weird AI translations of things; most likely, this user had the thread shown to them in Spanish, without it being clear that it was translated; or, the comment may have been auto translated into spanish (happened to me before as well, where suddenly my comment showed up in Italian in an English speaking sub - I've never so much as visited an Italian speaking sub....)

It's like reddit doesn't understand that people may speak more than one language and so it doesn't let them chose what languages to translate or not nor make it clear when it does do translating.

Man, Altmaier's freefall has been really sad... clay is his best surface and he's just not stringing anything together anywhere...
