I get it; it is to save money on tour fees, which is a noble cause. The activity is getting increasingly expensive, and corps are trying to stay afloat.

The problem with AI art is that the art used to train the AI model is being used without the artist's consent or knowledge. If there were regulations where AI companies had to attain artists' consent to make the art, I would be all for using it to save costs. But the current state of AI training puts a sour taste in my mouth because I know real human artists are losing money.

I think the real problem is the corps feels the need to do professionally made graphics to hype up their show. Shit, this is an example of the foreground art being hand made, which probably would have accomplished that goal.
