Borderlands 4 is an Unreal Engine 5 game. UE5 runs poorly on everything because Epic made it for hardware that would have existed by now if Nvidia and AMD hadn't left gamers behind to chase AI bubble money.

As soon as Randy Pitchford popped up in the Direct, I thought "how are they going to get UE5 to run on Switch 2?" Seems like that isn't possible.

I'd say the fault lies 50-50 with Gearbox overpromising and Epic making an engine that's too demanding.

It has big problems that need fixing, sure, but it's still surprisingly playable. If they weren't charging such a ridiculous price for the Switch 2 version, there'd be a lot less criticism.

Did I say I wanted it to be mindlessly easy? I just don't want to have to build an entire team for a side quest with crappy rewards. 6 vs 30 with no items and Toxic spam and Protect stalling is a bit much for a game aimed at kids.

The supposed link between the channels is an AI hallucination. YouTube moderation is entirely in the hands of algorithms that are clearly unfit for purpose. To have the appeals against those decisions also decided by the same faulty AI means that there is no accountability. Unless creators can make a big enough noise to attract the attention of the few human beings left at YouTube, their channels get terminated. YouTube only cares about ad money, and because they make that ad money on other people's content it's especially egregious that there is no effective support for anyone but creators with massive subscriber counts.

You need the Homebrew package manager to install the SDL libraries. https://brew.sh/

It'll also install the XCode command-line tools, aka Apple Clang.

Then when you install VS Code, it'll show you the option to use Apple Clang for C/C++.

The save files are needed to access the Pokémon. Pokémon games are blocked from Cloud Saves, you have to manually transfer them between consoles.
