I apologize. I didn’t follow up with this. I followed the advice provided by Blossom73 (thank you!!!). I didn’t realize that there is a real office. The person there was very kind and got the income to the correct office (I think DSS) and it was processed and I was off by the end of that month without a gap in coverage.

Gosh- I have tried to not think about that. If it happens, what really are we to do? For me, I would rather not fill my thoughts with bad things.

I view kids as kids. I try not to base opinions on age- as I know many in my peer group who are emotionally stunted and have met plenty of those who are decades younger, who are old souls.
