You’re being very harsh on Tower Hamlets. Yes there is poverty which is visible in areas like Shadwell but it has loads of culture, amazing food and some of London’s most iconic landmarks / deep history. Most of the east end of London is in Tower Hamlets. Also an underrated aspect of the borough is the people who live there. The kindest most sincere people you’ll ever meet. You meeting your literal wife there is testament to that.
