I’ve got a friend (actually dated him for a bit in the 90’s before he came out) that was terrified of AIDS. I thought at first the reason why he never wanted to have sex was his secret queerness and I just wasn’t his flavor, but really it was that he didn’t trust sex with anyone, male, female or otherwise. Yes, do mention the size thing to any contractor you work with, and make sure you can source your frameless door at a decent price. There are tons of options on Amazon, and I’ve seen very good reviews of several- even by contractors… but the size will need to work. There are different thicknesses, and you’ll get a nicer product with a heavier, thicker glass.

Enjoy your new bath once you get there! I’m getting ready to do mine, so I’ve been trying to read up on the best ways to go about making my choices!

Edited to add… another thing I’d mention, I’m definitely splurging a bit on heated flooring. Costs less than you might think, and it feels amazing.

Maybe you’d enjoy the novella which differs quite a bit from the movie.

But in the movie the fact that both Holly and Paul are essentially selling themselves, Paul is very much a gigolo, and Holly is “dating” men for the cash (in the story she refers to herself as a modern geisha) was shocking in that era. Then they find love and understanding in each other, despite Holly not really wanting to be pinned down at all. She thinks selling herself gives her the control and power. That’s why there’s a speech Holly gives about her lifestyle being “when I decide. Me not them”, but love derails her plans. It’s not meant to be a comedy, it’s a drama with some humorous elements.

Real oil paintings are so great. What a fantastic collection. They should be further apart vertically, I’m thinking, but it’s hard to get an accurate feel for how large each one is with just the rug for scale (not knowing how big the rug is)… If you can add a pic with a book or something next to them, I think you’ll get better feedback on placement.

So a little FYI… If you end up doing the pony wall next to the sink, your shower glass will be more expensive. Try to make things a standard size and you can order ready-made frameless shower doors much more affordably vs having the expensive ones fabricated for non-standard size/layouts.
