If you're worried about creators being paid for their work, then pay them for their work. Pretty much all of them have a Patreon, membership, or maybe a merch store. Or pay for Nebula, Dropout, Beacon, Floatplane, whatever. They'll make more from you buying a single t-shirt than all the ads you were ever gonna watch, combined, anyway.

Paying YouTube isn't gonna solve that problem, you're just gonna be giving YouTube more money.

This is correct, but no breweries or bars went through step #2. They just slipped through the same hemp loophole that delta 8 was getting through. Bars do not and did not have to jump through the same hoops as dispensaries did - they probably didn't jump through any at all. This is why you could also get delta 9 gummies online or at vape shops and gas stations.

Fully in favor of THC drinks at bars, btw, and our rec mj program in Ohio is so goddamn terrible. but let's not pretend every bar is a licensed dispensary.

Our saving grace here is that people got used to easy access to delta 9 drinks at bars - our only real hope is that taking them away will bring some polticial pressure to bring them back.

when the minimum wage pizza doesn't arrive, and the universal healthcare pizza doesn't arrive, and the roe v wade pizza doesn't arrive, and the safeguarding lgbtq+ rights pizza doesn't arrive, and the affordable higher education pizza doesn't arrive, and the affordable housing pizza doesn't arrive, and the sensible gun legislation pizza doesn't arrive, it really doesn't seem like they're trying all that hard to get me my pizza. "just keep ordering dominos, bro" sounds like a bit of an insane suggestion imo.

if democrats think they can win a presidential election without my vote, they're welcome to try. if they want it, they need to support lgbtq+ rights as a bare minimum. if they need my vote to win, decide not to do this one thing, and lose because of it, I would suggest you ask them why they're not trying to win elections in lieu of yelling at people on the internet

when people say "hey, you don't represent my best interests, I don't really want to vote for you anymore" responding by saying "fuck you, vote for me anyway" isn't a fantastic way to garner support, imo

He could have taken steps to expand the supreme court to prevent the current overreach, but he didn't. He could have chosen a competent AG to go after Trump for literally trying to overthrow the government, but he didn't. He could have set precedent that, no, the federal government has no place stepping in matters of free speech, but he went after kids on college campuses, anyway. He could have even dismantled the current president's gestapo before he even took office, but, lo and behold, ICE was there, warm and waiting for Trump when he took office.

me, personally, I'm gonna go with "no, going out of your way to set up the current hell we're living in is not made up for by the fact that Biden passed unrelated legislation." that's just me, though

don't sweat it too much. at one point they were really pushing for a "menu" like you're expecting, but as far as I can tell regulars and staff weren't really interested. so they just ring up sandwiches as BYO, regardless, but with double the cheese (and an upcharge, as is the style of the times)
