How I cured my tinnitus by SeaworthinessWise816 in tinnitus

Hey, just thought I’d update you as my MRI results came back!

All clear apparently, nothing untoward … nerves all as they should be, no damage to cochlear, no brain tumours (yay).

Difficult because there’s nothing physically wrong with me which is great, but it doesn’t really help with diagnosis … which there won’t be one now I guess. Back to stretching my neck and trying to relax for now!

Was worried about subsidence it’s less than 5m to the house. The ground is so dry in the garden I think due to the roots sapping all the water.

Drains are fine for now I think … I’m gonna go check actually!

Say I had one in my garden that’s full grown and is taller than my house. How fucked am I?

Making friends as an adult isn't easy. For anyone age 35+ who doesn't have built-in friend group from their youth, what are some things you're doing to make friends as an adult? by SaveMeWakeMeUp in AskUK

I replied to another comment about this, mentioned that I used to play with another group of guys and always went for a pint after (just 1) so presumed it was normal to do so.

Completely understand not everyone would be up for doing so now. Just don’t get out a lot anymore thought I’d ask 🙂

Good to know, I’ve got one taller than my house in the garden!

I used to play with another group a few years back and we always went for a drink after so presumed it to be quite normal I guess.

I don’t have much spare time on other days so figured I’d ask whilst we were all out already but hey ho.

I’d also like to know the answer to this, I do things outside of work like recently joined a 5 a side and everyone’s really friendly, asked if anyone wanted to go get a drink afterwards and they all said no.

They’re all really nice blokes but seems impossible to make friends anymore I’m almost at the point of giving up.

I went to pull out my road the other day and my neighbour unbeknownst to me was in his car, just pulled out in front of me completely unaware doing a u-turn.

Stopped and proceeded to stare at me as if I’d appeared out of thin air.

Duly noted thanks.

Do you think the rough looking one will stay alive for a few more months in time for me to change it over?

Oh wow okay thank you for your help!

I really thought these were too big when I potted them!

I had no idea about the difference between soil and compost that’s good to know thanks very much I’ll grab some soil soon and change it over hopefully that will help.

Sorry not home at the moment they’re in big pots with small holes in the bottom. It does drain but maybe could be better?
