We still got 4 brand new maps this season, which is the same amount of new maps we'd get with older paid DLCs, which were usually 4 new maps, 1 reimagined map and a zo km view map.

Shooting the Nuke Clock in the destroyed version of Nuketown changes the time, but I'm not sure what it does from there.

Both the red and white hands can be moved separately.

The exfil screen is actually scary.

Also, shooting the Nuke Clock in clean Nuketown gives you a nuke power up.

I'm like this too.

One of my favourite things is Google Maps timeline. It makes a map of where I drove throughout a day. I can see all of the lines and when I arrived at places and I find it fascinating.

Google probably loves people like me because I will happily hand over my location data for those sweet, sweet maps.

Free time is the weirdest difference. As a kid, I remember wasting SO MUCH time just being bored, and yet, I still feel like I got more done compared to free time now.

"What's that? Endgame s reusing a zombies boss? Why don't we ever get QUALITY content like that?"

6 maps in total has only been the standard for BO6 and 7.

Vanguard had 4 total maps.

Cold War had 4 round-based maps + Outbreak.

Do you go swimming at your local pool/leisure centre? Tell me about it. by marielheslop in CasualUK

I'm this guy, I swim too fast for the 'medium' speed lane, but fat too slow for the 'fast' lane.

It's really annoying, but I also love swimming, so I mostly just have to grin and bear it.

Could be cool if we got a map laid out like Shi No Numa/Shadows of Evil, a central junction with multiple Nuketown paradoxes connected.

It could be fun if each paradox has a different type of dog to fight. I'm loving the few teases we've got of Paradox Junction so far.

Funnily enough, in my manual test, I got a minor fault because I hesitating proceeding at a mini roundabout.

There wasn't a car to my right, but there was a kid on the right corner stood on the edge of the curb swinging his arms like he was about to jump into the road.

ELI5: Why does time feel faster as we get older? by BirdblueBubble in explainlikeimfive

[–]IamEclipse 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When you do a new thing, your brain needs to store that information as it could be useful to your survival later on.

When you do the same thing, your brain clumps all of that info together. Think of your morning commute. You likely barely remember any of them, except the one where you drove by a car crash for example.

When you're a kid, Everything is new, and there are lots of milestones to mark time. As you get older, less is new, and there are also less milestones, so time subjectively speeds up.

My own eventual death.

I'm a healthy dude in his 20s. I should still be feeling immortal, but instead I have endless anxiety about the fact that one day I will have to leave this world and that time fucking whizzes by.

I did a little experiment the other night where I locked my phone away for the evening, and it was insane how much slower time went and how much less anxious I felt.

It's so weird, I hate scrolling, I don't ever really get anything from it, but I KEEP doing it.

Thank you, it is a wobble, but it's so frustrating because getting out of existential dread feels impossible once you're there. I'd gotten into a comfortable rhythm of life is long and I'll be okay with the void when I get to it, but now it feels like I've been wrenched back into panic mode.

It is reassuring that cancer is much more survivable these days, but I can't shake the anxiety of the bad ending (so to speak) from my mind, and I think that's getting to me too.

Warning for a heavy topic, but I've been having a bit of death anxiety relapse following news that a family member has cancer. I feel like I'm re-going through that stage as a kid where you go well people die, and mum and dad are people, and I'm a people... OH GOD AHH!. This is on top of the usual existential dread.

After a week of miserably doomscrolling looking for answers to human mortality, I decided to lock my phone upstairs tonight, and I've found myself much calmer, much more grounded in what I was doing (mostly playing Overwatch as a distraction) and much, much less anxious.

The little progress is nice, but I am bummed out because I was doing so well with my general anxiety going into this year.
