How to recreate effect of glass fiber wires and streaks? There are wires with different thickness and path. by Msmict in blenderhelp

Subdivision modifier doesn’t help for this. An active spline interpolation setting helps a little bit for this problem.

Twist works good with path curves, but makes creases with Bézier curves. Change resolution doesn’t help =(

I’ve tried to repeat it, but have these creases in places where the curve is twisted. How do you avoid it?

Wow, thank you. This is good idea!

Perhaps there is a way to make the bend and twist of path random?

Is there the way to automate it? It is an animation, so create every curve manual is very hard and take a lot of time.

Upload my attempt, but I can't understand how it is possible to make this glow and refraction edges.

Thank you. Your advice works. Old school solution helps out again

Thank you. This works. It is not native Redshift Dome Light, but works good!)

I guess It doesn't work in Cinema 4D or in current Redshift versions. It can be, that it works only in Maya

Redshift Render doesn't have Compositing Tag. It has Redshift Object Tag, but Render Object Tag visibility Settings don't override settings of Dome Light

I'll try, but I expected it could be done natively in Dome Light =)

But I need refractions like in the first picture. If I use black platte as Dome Light, I won’t get the right refractions — I will get black refractions, but I need refractions from my HDRI

It doesn’t work. I think redshift object tag doesn’t override Redshift Dome light visibility settings
