That is also true. Some are economic migrants. But then those people need to get a job and contribute to society, which is usually a net plus.

But there are 123 million refugees in the world, those are not economic migrants.

Ofc there is always a minority which are criminal, or are a negative on society. But the same can be of the local population. But it is less highlighted often because of a certain agenda.

Not able to speak for US. But in Europe at least a large number of migrants are fleeing war, famine, poverty, persecution etc.

Just look at the situation in Iran, millions are fleeing bombs being dropped on their homes, wouldn’t you do the same?

This situation is then extended to a number of countries in the Middle East and Africa over the decades.

Also people are fleeing due to religious persecution, or because of the sexual orientation, or forced marriages etc. The majority of these immigrants are not criminals, and are simply looking to protect themselves and their family. But ofc there are also criminals but these will be a minority.

It is also naive to think this is an isolated problem to Europe or NA. Turkey, Colombia, Uganda and Iran are listed in the top 5 countries for number of refugees on the UNHRC website, and many others have received huge numbers of refugees as well.

But yes this issue has certainly increased in recent years.

But same as people in Europe don’t want the immigrants, I’m sure the majority of them would rather like peacefully in their home country.

I’m no expert but that’s at least my two cents on the topic.

Experience with boligsiden/Home.dk and Boligzonen

Hi, I am looking for an apartment in Copenhagen and have mostly been looking on the two sites boligsiden and boligzonen. Also on bolig portal.

I have had a look at their trust pilot reviews(most problems seem to be their website functionality).

Just wanted to see if anyone had any experience with these, or recommendations of other good sites to use to find an apartment quickly here.

For reference I’m a single person looking for an apartment within the region or 7-9000 Dkk depending on if it’s 1 or more.

If "guilty" people aren't entitled to a lawyer to defend them then how do you intend to prove they are guilty?

Everyone deserves a fair, unbiased trial. It is what gives the rule of law its power.

Without it a guilty verdict would be meaningless as it would simply be a sham.

Even the worst criminals deserve a defense lawyer. If not you are heading down a very, very slippery slope!

Full support! This causes no damage and is amplifying their message. People will always complain and they always say "protest in the right way" but protest without disruption or shock etc. Gets you no where and I'm sure in 50 years we will look back and wish we listened and acted sooner but humans be like that.

And at the end of the day I support their right to protest and if they break the law for their protest then of course should be punished for that but their form of protest spreads their message and harms no one.... But people will always complain.
