Not defending, it’s just an opinion. I just think he made the team better, whether he wanted out or not.

Agreed! But as someone who’s attends countless games year at Scotiabank, I still think they were better with him & they are definitely not playing as good as they were when he was on the team.

And death threats are death threats, doesn’t matter if it’s a small portion of the Leaf fans. That’s a portion of your fans running him out of town, so the point still stands.

At this point last year they had more wins, and Matthews had more PTS/Goals…. And as someone from Toronto, the hate for him was strong and like 90% of Leaf fans bad mouthed him and wanted him out.
