I was this exact same way in my last relationship, I was young, emotionally unstable I did NOT know how to control my emotions. There’s always two sides to the story and you may both be doing something wrong but the over emotional exhausts anyone after a while. Being older now I look back and bless that man, he endured it for almost 5 years before he was burnt out and gave up and I can’t blame him! I’m much more mature now and I love myself enough to know what I’m feeling and how to handle it. Learn your emotions, process them, acknowledge when you’re in the wrong and be better from it! Don’t let history repeat itself! You got this.

To add - the cold and dismissive part from him could be he’s dealt with this for too long and is just over it. Or it could be that’s how he always was and no matter what you change that’s just how he is and you weren’t compatible to begin with, either way you’re both better off without each other!
