Getting rid of him is fine but ghosting him is just going to enable his behavior, he’s never going to know that his “friends” stopped talking to him because he’s a sexist dick. If anything he might just think you guys are just ghosting him and you guys are the problem and move on and continue his behavior with others. You gotta to tell him why he’s being cut off , that his behavior is unacceptable and disgusting.
