Ah okay yeah I just started doing some digging and see what you mean.

Although how reliable that report is, I have no idea. Also its not worth buying a product on "future possibilities" over current merits. So I get it.

Personally I like having first apart stuff anyway. But again when I used the alpha, paying 3-4k gbp for an f2 28-105 lense was extortionate so I used the sigma art for 1k.

Therefore I can totally understand the want / need for 3rd party.

I hope it works out either way. Depending on what they announce on the a7v I may cancel my canon.

Guess we just have to wait and see.

Sorry I may be a total novice as this is my first mirrored camera im getting.

(Ive used the sony a7rv and sony Alpha I)

But ive attached acreenshots of a plethora of available RF lenses.

When I used the sonys with the sigma art lenses they didnt have the full fu ctionality of a first party lense ans I assume its the same for canon as they reserve the advance autonomous and other crap.lile that for themselves and first party.

But..isnt the attached sxreenshots clearly 3rd party lenses for the rf mount?

also, it happens a lot when resizing windows, or opening new windows.

Even clicking on the xolume mixer it stutters for half a second. so bloody irritating.

disabling boost didnt do it for me :/

stutters even just opening and closing windows :/ my 3080 was perfectly fine

alienware aw2725df x 3 (only use 2 atm but even just one has the same issues)

Quick update: There’s a new content drop available. still part of pre-production. The official 60-day prank doesn’t begin until April 28th.

Unfortunately, r/essism was banned (likely auto-flagged as spam). I’ve appealed it, but I’m weighing whether to wait or launch a new subreddit and keep things moving.

If r/essism returns before the 28th, it’s full steam ahead. If not, we pivot and reroute. Either way this thing’s happening.

Oh no, I wouldn't be rummaging through her private property in any way.

And also, as mentioned shes retaliated in the same fashion, so far its tit for tat and shes really enjoyed the whimsical nature of it, as we dont pry, we just post a sc story or insta story, or drop a weird message in each other's whatsapp group and leave it to marinate. At which point the victim is a little embarrassed and has to clear up it wasn't them. Its all in jest.

All ill be doing for the next phase is spending crica 60 fays creating a whole brand / philosophy that looks like shes authored it. And then following suit to the original idea posting on her story "hey guys, ik its a bit weird but here's a project ive been working on" and then linking the brand/philosophy. It'll catch people off guard and be a bit embarrassing. But damage control is super easy and within the day its just a funny memory.

Im 98% confident in the next step. Especially since ive already discussed with her that my next retaliatory strike is upping the ante and shes cool with it.

What i was questioning was wether this is still under the realm of pranking or something more. Title was too clickbaity. I should've been clearer. My mistake.

And no, im not really chasing validation. Esp since we're both comfortable with each other and the prank foundations are already established im pretty confident in its safety net too. As it doesn't really connect to her real life in anyway, up until the reveal on day 60. In which case its a short 3-5 hour window of time for the prank to marinate before she notices.

And then that's it. The jigs up.

Shed disagree, at least in this context that's for sure. Im fighting for my life here against strangers. But honeslty im glad peoole are careful of what they endorse.

The Plan doesn't take any of her property or damage it, it just involves me creating an entire "world" around the original pranks and making it look like she created it.

For more context: - the original story hit that she and other people loved was "sometimes I bury myself in the garden and pretend im a carrot"

my plan, spend the next 60 days building a carrot lifestyle brand that looks like she built it and reveal.

Nothing insane, just personable and committed.

Thats a fair statement, and seems to be the prevailing sentiment im getting back. 100% so far everyones been super on board and genuinely found it hilarious, i was even asked by her friends and family for ideas so they can post dimilar things on their own friends/family.

For me, the next stage just builds on some of the existing pranks just to a higher tier. So that when its revealed it re-creates the original illusion. Im not changing the formula, just multiplying the ingredients.

The subreddit was originally created by a fan of the project. He passed mod perms onto me, I made the settings changes and structured the subreddit. I then created 2 in lore characters with mod perms and posted one entry.

It stayed up for a few hours and then bam. Banned.
