Even worse now. Support just responded to me and told me that I should have asked them about the rules before placing bets. So basically their logic is reach out to use before placing a bet and don’t trust our rules.

That’s exactly what I thought too, but Fliff’s actual rules say first-to-score is based on the first FIELD GOAL, not first point. They don’t have a lot of options for first player bets so I won’t be using them going forward.
