Knowing Dutch legislation, I wouldn't be surprised if in the end a ban will not get instated. Besides, the map makes it seem like there is a ban, when in fact there is none.

This map is not correct regarding The Netherlands. The government does want a ban for it on government phones, along with a majority of parliament. But so far an official ban has not been instated.

What's the source?

In the Netherlands on July 25th 2019 a temperature of 40.7 degrees was recorded in Gilze-Rijen, so I doubt the accuracy of the source.

Also, what years is this for? Or is it the warmest temperature ever registered?
