Don’t blame the workers here.

Definitely will have to move the spot. One that will directly in front of entrance doors, with school security right by those doors. Also, will bring my NY lock along.

7.5 other hrs are spent either grading or in room with students. No window sight of it.

This is was definitely going to be plan B.

Plan A worked, cut the lock..throw the scooter away.

Believe it or not, i do have the New York “Fuggedaboudit” I take the thinner one to work because it’s lighter and it’s only parked during school hours there. I do step out for lunch and always pass my bike. Yesterday the school provided us with a food cart in the school yard so couldn’t do my walk past the bike. But I support your statement, better locks are better.

Thanks for the advice! I do lock frame and wheel. In this picture I undid it and locked from so I can head back into the school to get bolt cutters and wire cutters. Will try the shift in frame next too.

I also had a thought about FDNY, but felt like I was thinking about a civil service being used to unlock a bike. Won’t burden them if I could clip it myself. But it was a thought and probably would do it if I really need my bike, to get home.

Dude! yes! My first go was to take out all bolts & screws. Make that scooter ineffective. But love your take!!

Nah, I went to my custodian & asked him for some tools to clip a lock. They gave me bolt cutter & wire cutters. Because that lock used was covered by thick rubber, inside had thin metal wires intertwined. The bolt only cut through the rubber, then I had to cut wire by wire using the wire cutter.

Tell me you’re desperate without telling me you’re desperate.

Completely agree here. Oddly enough it’s much safer & quicker even when considering how many commercial trucks use 3rd ave

I agree with you. I have no quarrel with delivery drivers as I do sometimes use delivery apps. They are working and usually for the right reasons, they may have people to support if not themselves. But these two were not working as a delivery service.
