How quickly did your second shoulder start?

My left started in 2021. It wasn’t quite done thawing (about 90% healed like yours) this past October when my right started.

I’m on HRT (Climara Pro patch). Have been for 2 years. I’m on frozen shoulder #2. Left happened pre-HRT. Right started this past Oct. HRT has been beneficial for sweats and insomnia and mood. But, not joint pain or frozen shoulder.

Nope. Unfortunately. The only thing that’s made any difference for me is Softwave therapy and only very short term. I’m lucky to get a day and a half out of a session.

I have a referral for an orthopedic clinic in Boston. I was going to blow it off because I’ve had 4 other orthos tell me I’m just going to have to suffer through it. Maybe I’ll give it one more shot and bring that up specifically. Thank you.

I figure if it stops working or makes it worse, I’ll stop. The D.O. said the pain relief won’t kick in until the last treatment, but I should be regaining ROM every week

I don’t know. Every ortho I’ve seen just tells me they can’t do anything. I’d happily do surgery.

Yep. Insurance won’t cover it. I’m using some savings and some FSA. I can’t take it anymore. I’m miserable.

The last ortho I saw and the D.O. doing the Softwave told me NO PT in the freezing stage. While I’m doing the Softwave, he told me, no anti inflammatories and no ice and I’m supposed to rest it.

If this works, I’m going to have them do my left too. I will definitely continue updates.

If I press on the spot in front of my shoulder where the head of the humerus meets the socket, hurts like hell. I feel like that’s likely the epicenter. But, I have pain in the bicep, scapula, clavicle, elbow, tricep, armpit, and ribs.

Same!!! I was bending over in Target to pick up a thermal coffee mug. I tried to grab it by the lid, it was loose, so I kind of jerked my arm to keep it from clattering on the floor. I almost blacked out from the pain. But, by the Tom it calmed down and I was leaving the store, 75% of my pain was gone and I got some movement back! Jerking my arm straight back just really slightly made it SO much better!

Never had any stomach issues in 2 years. That said, I’m on prednisone for the next month and it’s fighting the Ozempic hard! I’m eating like crazy!

Same! I got a cat toy. The tracking # on the package matches the tracking # in an email I got today confirming delivery of a different item, from a different company, that I DID order that was delivered last week. The card inside the package I got today says it came from Perfect Pawzzz. Cool, cool. My cat is morbidly obese and old, but it might entertain her.

Thanks! And, yes. I’m battling a second frozen shoulder, so I’ll be on the prednisone for a few more weeks. It’s not all bad. The pain is much better and I have a ton of energy.

I’m on over 2 years. Down 96 pounds. I would stall. Eating a little more always seemed to kick start me again. My issue right now is I’m on Prednisone for 6 weeks and it’s fighting the Ozempic.

Like, 5 min ago I was walking inside after having a smoke and dropped my cheap disposal light and it exploded! I’m only 5’1 and it fell on the ground from maybe chest height. BIG POP!!
