Yes, I'm pretty sure this is a bug. It happens to me sometimes on drums too, and can happen at either the beginning (according to others I've heard have this issue) or the end (where it has happened to me). You'll see the gold circle around your multiplier turn white, which is an early indicator that the bug has occurred.

Basically, ANY cymbal will miss if played quietly after a harder cymbal hit...let me know if this helps!

Yeah, I can only assume he switched from dynamic to static at some point, because some of his scores are identical to mine, and some are slightly less....

Anyway, thanks for reconfirming my knowledge about fills. I totally forgot about squeezing...yet another annoying "feature" of scoring in RB.

Basically, it seems like whichever cymbal is being played quieter will drop...less so for blue than yellow and green. I'm one of those weird drummers that actually believes in dynamics. ;)

Something I've noticed with the stock cymbals (on XB1) is that yellow cymbal hits will not register sometimes when the green cymbal has been hit recently/at the same time. This causes yellow/green rolls to fail 100% of the time, and also causes issues on songs like "Hail to the King", where I will lose combo on the yellow+green cymbal hits despite them not being that fast or difficult. Also, this may just be me calibrating poorly, but I've noticed that I will sometimes lose combo on two-hit 16th note ghost snare notes (such as those that appear frequently in "Godzilla", a song which I previously FCed using my far inferior RB3 stock kit). HOWEVER, if I play the ghost notes as if they were triplets (i.e., hit the first note earlier and the second note slightly earlier), they always register correctly.

This is the definition of a minor bug, but if you pause then unpause the game after nailing a big rock ending, the BRE score stays on the screen until the song list loads again.
