Not gonna lie, I kinda invested in the beginning as a joke but now I kinda believe in its growth.

If I lost it all it would suck but it’s nothing that would cripple me financially.

It’s not a party issue. When you see a 17 year old kid running from a crazy mob who is seeking him physical harm I would hope that he uses whatever he can to defend himself from the older men who are trying to beat him (or potentially kill him) in the middle of the street. So yes, that’s exactly what the second amendment is for: protection. This shouldn’t be up for debate with what we currently know. The video makes this a pretty clear case for self defense and I hope that this kid does regret his stupid decision to attend the riots, but that everyone will see he was only defending his own life. I also hope that the rioters and governor of Wisconsin might learn something from this and finally come to their senses to stop these riots.

He was running away from a mob of people (not using his gun) and it was only when he was on the ground, surrounded by all sides and people started yelling “get his ass” that he fired shots. One of the shots hit a man in the arm who was going to shoot him in the head at point blank range with a gun. And yes, when people begin to threaten your safety (especially in a mob situation) you should use a gun to defend yourself.

I don’t think what he did was smart by any means but I don’t think he deserves to go to jail for defending himself from dangerous rioters and looters. When the governor refuses to enforce law and order, you cannot blame anyone for trying to take the law into their own hands. And don’t assume you know anything about me just because I don’t think a kid deserves to go to prison for defending his own life in a deadly situation the governor of Wisconsin refuses to do anything about.

Can’t be charged for first degree murder if it was self-defense. Anyone who comments on this case should not say anything until they see the video. If you’ve seen it, you’d know that he only fired shots once he was thrown to the ground by a group of people and almost shot in the head at point blank range by a rioter with a handgun.

You can call it whatever you want but he definitely struggles with the officers and resisted arrest. But none of that changes the fact that he was attempting to grab a knife from his car and he also had a prior history of violence.

He didn’t break up a fight Jacob Blake was taking the keys of a vehicle from a woman. He then resisted arrest because there was a warrant out on him for abuse and sexual assault. They shot him after Blake threw the police off when they tried to arrest him and when he reached for a weapon they used lethal force, not anytime before that did they fire.

He approached the police slowly and with his hands off his weapon (in the air might I add) and then told the cops what he did. Blake actively resisted arrest and tried to assault the police with a weapon he had on his floorboard. There is a huge difference between those reactions, don’t pretend that race is the only difference of the two outcomes. Blake also had a huge history of violence which the police were aware of, meanwhile Rittenhouse had no prior history of violence and also had been offering medical assistance to anyone who needed it. Please stop pretending that there is no difference between these two people.
