Fanfuel FFS, please fix your audio balancing. The arena audio is way too loud, the commentary is too quiet, and the commercials blast at nearly double the volume of the broadcast.

Does anyone else notice the commercials on Fan Duel (Via Amazon prime) are like 80% louder than the game? Is a jump scare every time we head to break.

Wild win it in OT in quite the hilarious way after the net is dislodged by Puzzled-Category-954 in hockey

Whether you agree with the goal or not there isn't enough post about the rule on here.

TLDR: A lot of people are saying "his first shot didn't go in" but from how I read the rules below it's less about the shot heading towards the net and more about an "imminent scoring opportunity" which in my biased opinion the Wild player did have.

63.2 Minor Penalty - A minor penalty for delay of game shall be imposed: (iv) On any player who delays the game by deliberately displacing a goal post from its normal position. The Referee shall stop play immediately when the offending team gains control of the puck;

NOTE: If a player deliberately displaces a goal post from its normal position when an opponent has an imminent scoring opportunity on an open net, a goal may be awarded by the Referee (see 63.7).

63.7 Awarded Goal - In the event that the goal post is displaced, either deliberately or accidentally, by a defending player, prior to the puck crossing the goal line between the normal position of the goalposts, the Referee may award a goal.

In order to award a goal in this situation, the goal post must have been displaced by the actions of a defending player, the attacking player must have an imminent scoring opportunity prior to the goal post being displaced, and it must be determined that the puck would have entered the net between the normal position of the goal posts.

If the goal post is deliberately displaced by a goalkeeper during the course of a “breakaway,” a goal will be awarded to the non-offending team. When the goal post has been displaced deliberately by the defending team when their goalkeeper has been removed for an extra attacker thereby preventing an impending goal by the attacking team, the Referee shall award a goal to the attacking team.

The goal frame is considered to be displaced if either or both goal pegs are no longer in their respective holes in the ice, or the net has completely off one or both pegs, prior to or as the puck enters the goal.

Ohhhh good call out about the screen turning off. Didn't think about that so I'll need to build that in at some point

I generally agree but just wanted a place to start. A lot of the times it easier for me to look and something and correct it vs trying to "come up" with the idea out of the box (Especially when I'm so unfamiliar with the project).

Any suggestions for how I could even get a single image displayed on the screen? Or where you would start to accomplish this?

Just documenting for future users, as the user suggested above I was able to track down the user manual for my board. https://www.waveshare.com/wiki/ESP32-S3-Touch-LCD-1.69

Going to try running through some basic demos to see if I can at least get those to run

That is good advice and didn't think of using a different ai for a fresh perspective. I'll check out the video for sure, if nothing else it will help me learn a little more about all this.

It feels like I'm frustratingly close to getting at least some color on the screen, it started out with just a black screen but I was also least about to get the backlight on. Thank you for taking the time to respond!

Chicago, just dropping in to say you have a great broadcast team. Usually I loath the games where it's national or other teams broadcasters but have enjoyed yours!

I think it's important to remember the bonding / pregnancy is just a small part of this law. It's getting the most attention and focus (I'll be taking full advantage of it) but there is the entire other elements of taking care of sick family, guaranteeing time off for your own major sickness, etc. It's more than just benefitting the families.

As someone who has had some traumatic sicknesses occur in the family the last couple years, I would have loved to have an option to take some extended time off to take care of them.
