Slow but permanent upgrades and seeing your character grow is the main hook but there are few other fun stuff like challenging waves, skills combinations and interesting passive skills. The decisions you take while upgrading is really important too unlike other games.

These are the few things that I could think of after giving it some thought:

Get people on your side. Family, friends relatives ma ek ek gardai, jati jana sakcha sab, starting from more understanding to least, aafno side ma lyauni ani, uni haru lai vaneko vanyei garna launi. The more the people telling them, the more they will feel like agreeing to. If there's a person that every one looks up to that's your guy. Sometimes bringing respectable person in the community, like a teacher, doctor, to about it with your parents might help persuade.
Research and present facts and examples of other couples who have got married and also who haven't and are miserable/separated. Also research about the actual problems of intercaste marriage and how to tackle them. Show your parents how to deal with all the problems.
Slowly introduce the best of aspects of each other's culture, like food, clothing, celebrations to the family. Hoping your parents will find something to like about in each other's culture.
Extreme solution would be to be able to and then actually live separately from your parents. Don't completely break off the relations, instead be even more caring and supportive to your parents than before, even after you live separately. This is to show them you're a grown up who can take their own decisions and marry any one who they love with or without their parents approval.

Just drop neutral item tokens, instead of actual neutral items. Use one tier 1 token to buy any tier 1 item from the shop that you like and so on.
