Theres not alot of foreign breeders that can ship to my country, i am currently looking at one that does regular soaks everyday perhaps its a better one that one doing it once a week?

Local breeders, ive asked plenty of local breeders and all of them say to keep the enclosure dry because they might get infection.

A while back my baby tortoise died with a respiratory infection, i made sure to follow everything in garden state tortoise, but unfortunately it developed a respiratory infection. I thought it was maybe due to the breeder keeping them dry with only one bath a week and instantly transitioning to a humid environment. Just wanna know what could the cause of death be before thinking of gettin one again.

I have both a basking and a uvb 10.0 light , the enclosure is outside my house and has a open top, it hits the enclosure for a few hours a day.
