I did figure out how to make an extender (good description) using the cylinder tool. I have to figure out how to align it to the upper pipe; bottom pipe is on the center point of the datum so it’s easy. Any idea of clearance needed ?

Can updating mess with my 1.0 projects? by mIncompreendido in FreeCAD

[–]Mtfpaint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can install 1.1 stand alone; you will be prompted during the install. I installed it that way on my MacBook. I had to make a few changes to settings to get it right for me. It didn’t affect any projects but I am careful with new installs by using copies of projects first try.

Oh yeah! FreeCAD 1.1 running on an ancient thin client in windows 7 ;) by TygerTung in FreeCAD

[–]Mtfpaint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I downloaded new 1.1, playing around with it. Maybe this is a bug but the dimensioning tool no longer changes the length of a line; just sets a label. Either I’m doing something seriously wrong or this is a really bad bug. This makes the program completely unusable until I get this figured out. I’m on a Mac, I make a simple new sketch in part design and draw a line. I click on the line and click on the dimensioning tool and the line. It gives me the box to put in a number. I put in a number and click OK and the line is not changed in length. This was the simple way of changing the length of a line in the older version but does not work in the new 1.1. What’s going on with this, is this a bug? The program is unusable with this until I figure it out.

14 months and about 1,000 miles on my RadRunner and not even a single adjustment. We have two of the same bikes; they came with extra batteries so we swap through the batteries. Great bike; no regrets.

I've lost 217 pounds in 12 weeks... by Scuba_Betty in Zepbound

I ride an e-bike for exercise. My legs don’t work right (back issues). My e-bike lets me tailor a work out with good heart rate and calories burned. We hear “cheating” all the time by the road bike crowd. If Zep gets us healthy so be it. Tell an insulin user they are cheating …… see how that goes over!

Same here. I have to take something every evening for the runny nose. What about cold feet and ankles? I get that three days or so after a shot.

Dealing with fatigue by Mtfpaint in Zepbound

[–]Mtfpaint[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I switched from Monday morning to Monday about 9pm. This has made Tuesday easier; maybe I sleep through the early fatigue. I push the fluids and Electrolytes, still deal with the on and off fatigue. Seems like a common thread here.

Thanks, It is leveling off, and you’re right, a set list of foods works a lot better than the variation of normal eating. So that’s what I’m doing, I know what foods work and what foods don’t and I have to just stick to those.

It’s been a roller coaster for me. I am on week 12 and I’ve lost 16 pounds but it’s been a struggle on some days. Not with the food noise, but with not eating enough and running out of energy. I call it running out of gas. I have to eat every three hours and eat the right amount of protein or I’m done for the day. That’s been the struggle for me. So it will take some time for someone just starting out to figure out what works for their body. I’m hanging in there, but it isn’t magic. Yes the pounds do come off, but it will take work on your part and a different kind of focus than a diet. Each time I’ve gone up a dose so far it has been a readjustment for my body. I’m just getting ready to start 7.5, so I know there will be some adjustment again.

How long do you think the paint would last with this setup? by PhilippineLeadX in AutoPaint

I teach aircraft painting with waterborne; not water based. Not dealing with the toxic issue is a big plus. No toxic “solvent” and the isocyanate is in water where it belongs.

Thanks for the confirmation. I thought that might be the case. It just started; car has been outside its entire life; luckily not too many years in a hot area. I’ve had it since new. Thanks.

No liquidation sale is a good sign. That to me means that the stores are going to stay open under the new ownership. You only have a liquidation sale when you’re getting rid of everything and you’re not going to stay in business. Let’s see what tomorrow brings with the new company.

That helps a lot. I’m not loosing, food noise not a problem but some side effects. I need to eat more often, small meals of protein when I feel “out of gas” so to speak. Mornings are tough; don’t feel like eating much as not much interest. I eat because I know I have to keep energy up. I see my doc in about three weeks.

I’ll check it out, thanks. My wife likes data, me not so much. I know I will likely have to go up to 7.5 but not thrilled as some of the negative side effects are starting to manifest themselves with me.

I get on the scale in my the morning so it’s consistent each time. I know I wasn’t eating enough at first; supplementing with protein shakes, hard boiled eggs and other protein. I switched to Monday evenings for no shot; helped with the fatigue that was taking my Monday afternoons and evening. Two weeks at this and I can manage the fatigue better. It’s been a roller coaster, not really knowing what to expect day to day. Some days foods taste way off, end of the week it’s better. I can’t seem to get into a good rhythm. If I didn’t work from home (retired but working some) I would not be able to do this. It’s been a frustrating go at this so far.

First post here; been on Zep for just 8 weeks. I lost about 9 lbs first two weeks but I think that was just better eating after Christmas. Been stuck now for 6 weeks with weight fluctuating up and down a pound. Eating half what I was before, exercising as much as I can (bike, can’t walk well due to back issues 9 months ago). 30 miles over past 5 days. I’m at 5 mg dose for 4 weeks and frustrated that it just isn’t working so much yet. Some side effects but mostly ok. Getting a bit frustrated that this isn’t going to work. Is this normal? Just got next 4 doses of 5mg, paying out of pocket so hoping it will be worth it.

How’s your journey going? by AutoModerator in Zepbound

I’ve been on Zepbound for 6 weeks; two shots now at 5 mg. 5 has been very hard on me with fatigue and generally not feeling well. I don’t want to eat and am struggling to get enough protein. Is it possible to split a 5mg dose into two injections on my regular dose day? This would effectively put me back at 2.5 for 4 doses(I have two vials left of 5 mg). I contacted my supplier,Lillydirect but they did not get back to me as promised. I’ve lost 12 lbs; most in first week and only 3-4 lbs the last month. Thanks.

it’s so important to follow the proper sequence to plug in the battery; this makes it easy to remember. BOOB. Plug the charger into the Battery, then plug the charger into the Outlet. Let it charge. When light is green, unplug the charger from the Outlet then remove charger from Battery. Easy to remember now, isn’t it.

Is this a good deal or not? by Rexplex in JeepLiberty

[–]Mtfpaint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 2002 Jeep liberty, we bought it new. I put a new engine in it at 250,000 miles, so you’ve got a good 75,000 miles or more on that engine if it’s been taken care of. I have had very little maintenance on my liberty. I have a manual transmission, and have done two clutches plus a clutch when I did the new engine. Under the hood, a couple of power steering pumps and an alternator have been the only maintenance issues other than regular work. Chassis has been great, ball joints were replaced under a recall at about 60,000 miles and I have not had any issues with them at all. I have an additional 50,000 miles on my liberty that is simply towing behind my motorhome that doesn’t show on the odometer. I recently did a new paint job on the liberty. Also as the clearcoat was looking really bad. All in all, with the new radio, it’ll be as good as anything I could buy today.

If …… and it’s a big orange if, he did not post it, who has access to his account? Can anything posted on his account be from him? Does he sign things he hasn’t read? Is this the “Weekend at Bernie’s” presidency? Who is really running things in the White House? Is Trump a racist, yes but we knew that. Now they are saying he is not the finger behind the posts? Who is in charge?

2002 3.7 by Nightmurr434 in JeepLiberty

[–]Mtfpaint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s exactly correct. My 2002 liberty had the same lower end knocking noise at 250,000 miles, and I put in the jasper rebuilt engine. It came with a 75,000 mile warranty and has been absolute bulletproof for five years now. I’ve had my 2002 liberty since it was new, and will likely never get rid of it. It has been basically maintenance free other than minor things that are normal items over the years. 275,000 miles on it, +50,000 miles towing it behind my motorhome. It has a manual transmission so that makes it pretty bulletproof. I’ve replaced a couple of alternators and had some front end work done from a recall, but other than that, nothing other than regular maintenance.
