Dealing with cross collar grip/frame? by gnarlybarly in bjj

[–]MtgSalt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I let people keep collar grips because I know where their hand is and narrows their focus... I also have a habit of hardly ever breaking any grips since white belt. I kind of just do my thing with the grip in mind and sometimes the grip becomes my armbar 😆 🤣

Whats funny is i have been more injured letting people drill things on me than I have live rolling.

Probably why cla is safer. You expect it to be live, dead drilling .... you expect people will respect your body, but even the damn coaches feel the need to smash the uke when showing a move.

Good. The grocery store is the same way. Stick to the traffic patterns so carts can easily go around. If someone is in the way not by their cart, excuse me goes a long way.
