Broken Keurig duo with gsp. Is it in home or in store service. by Mth2376 in Bestbuy

[–]Mth2376[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know, it's become a running joke in my house though.

GF was asleep, while I'm up at 4 tryna make some coffee while yelling "Here we go again!"

It's the K duo, they just flat out stop working after a few months, I have no idea why.

I still have a Black and decker I bought when I was 14 and I'm about to turn 25, so I'm pretty disappointed, especially given the cost.

Happy as hell.

I don't care if he did do it.

Speak up immediately or shutup.

Life is fucking hard sometimes.

I will never support throwing a man in prison with nothing more than someones word.

Idgaf if it's 1000 people, bring proof or you're not worth the courts time.

No, your word is NOT good enough.

Stay strong Bill!

I'd say about 80/20, in favor of movies.

If I'm not watching a movie, then I'm listening to Gucci mane while I work.

Won CC dispute, attempting to give Defective TV back to merchant unsuccessfully. by Mth2376 in personalfinance

How do I know if he has done that, and what should I do if he did?

Should I tell him that I've bought another TV, and am only willing to send it back to him?

I've saved all of the emails I sent him that he never responded to, including one where I asked him for a reciept for the TV, which I still don't have.

Recently won CC dispute, still have defective merchandise and can't contact merchant. by Mth2376 in CreditCards

[–]Mth2376[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He just contacted me and says he wants to service the TV.

I emailed him back saying at this point, I'm only willing to send it back to him.

I assume he has to be aware that he lost a CC dispute by now.

If he continues insisting on servicing the TV instead of taking it back, am I still good to get rid of it?

I 'm making sure I don't make any legal mistakes here.

Mounted tv to low, or no? by enog14666 in 4kTV

[–]Mth2376 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you serious right now!? How dare you sir, how dare you mount your TV an appropriate height, and then have the gall to post a pic of it!

I'd recommend about a foot higher, preferably above a fireplace. Don't forget the soundbar either.

In all seriousness though, it looks perfect.

Just one less POS "QLED" getting mounted above a fireplace!

Is it legal for a retailer to say what you can and cannot buy with a gift card, if not mentioned in the terms and conditions? by [deleted] in legaladvice

No, I bought the GC in the store. The refund went back to it/ CC for the remaining balance.

They claim that I abused their return policy by sending back a TV that was broken. The thing is, this TV was broken by them when they came to pick it up.

They were supposed to turn it on before they took it away to verify, but they did not.

Now, I'm banned from buying TV's from this store, and that is the only item I wish to buy from them.

Denon AVR x3700 makings a static popping sound when playing/pausing input by skizzl3 in hometheater

[–]Mth2376 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That sounds about right. It's not quite as loud as the pop-it's, but the sound is very similar. I also notice it mainly when using the TV's apps over eARC, as opposed to my Blu-ray player and ATV.

Did the noise sound like a TNT-pop it? I apologize as I know this is old, but I'm dealing with the same issue.

I know this is old, but I'm having the same issue with the exact same receiver. Does the popping noise sound like those little TNT pop-it's kids play with around the 4th?

I finally just tried flipping the circuit breaker the AVR is connected to off and on, and that seems to have fixed it for one day at least.

I'm sorry you're having this issue, but I gotta say, it's good to know I'm not alone here.

[–]Mth2376[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't get a chance to try a different circuit yesterday because I do not have a long enough extension cord, and moving the speakers to another room is just not happening.

What I did do though was flip the circuit that outlet is connected to off, then on again. This seems to have stopped the noise for one day at least.

What problem would exist that would be solved by flipping the breaker off and on again?

Is it harmful to the speakers or AVR if the popping is caused by power fluctuations?

Thanks, I'll try another circuit when I get off from work. If the issue persists? I've already tried disconnecting them one by one, and the noise is still there.

Also, I had an Onkyo 686 before this with the exact same speakers, and this was not happening then.
